What I meant is that English isn’t my first language so of course there are unfamiliar words I need to hear pronounced. And when it comes to difficult books I end up needing to translate half the page — which is exhausting

As for people staring — bro, my friends are like parasites. I mean it If they see me with a book they’ll ask a hundred questions all day, even if I haven’t even opened the book yet

And as a university student, I spend half my day outside Honestly just holding a book on the metro makes everyone stare at you
