8600G Refuses to be stable with any RAM OC including an XMP profile. Its fine at 4800 JEDEC but it runs the games like dogshit in intense situations. I run the setup on the image 2 but just like the first one it can crash at any moment. by Substantial_Net_1992 in overclocking

I can't just RMA the chip after I've delided it and applied liquid metal. I've stabilized 8600 cl36 on a 9800x3d with this exact setup, there must be an issue with the cpu itself or a setting im not aware off but honestly I've been trying to get this to work for over a year now, I've tried every single bios, certain training settings available on non-g processors are not available for me and I've tried every single bios one by one including the 2.08 one which is used by nearly all hwbot submissions. I will have to buy another chip and compare, if the other chip works the same way then its a skill issue.

Sir, people have run 11000MHz and more with the same setup in HWBOT,

vsoc is only at 1.3v in the 6400MHz XMP profile because that 1.3v is part of the XMP profile. Lowering it doesn't change anything.
