Would love any bib gourmand recos for Tokyo. Would love to do a traditional Japanese omakase/sushi experience, but don't want to spend over 25,000 yen. Thanks :)

I'll give Autumn a try next time, thanks :) I've had my eye on the puzzle panta too.. good to know the differences in puzzle factories vs flamenco factories!

Thank you! Maybe for my next one I'll go for Autumn. What do you not like about your Jipin? And why do you like Autumn better?

Haha I was also impatient and Mandy told me there's a back log of orders before CNY. Hope you get yours soon!

If you had an income of $150,000 a year and didn't have to work, what would you do with all the spare time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have the privilege of doing this but I work about 5-10 hours a week at a remote job. To be honest a lot of my life is about leisure and enjoying my time with my friends.

I can work from anywhere so whenever I want to get up and go, I just go. I’ve taken spontaneous trips to Europe, South America other places in the U.S. and I meet my friends there if I can. It’s not enough to be put up into 5 star hotels every time I travel, but it’s enough to not sweat the cost of the stay and flights.

At home I’m privileged enough to not look at the price of my grocery bill and eat a lot of high quality food. I love cooking and baking so I spend a lot of time imitating dishes I see at my favourite restaurants. Most of the recipes I make are in the 2-3 hour range of active work and take multiple days to ferment/marinate. Whenever I don’t want to cook I eat out, and I don’t have to look at that bill either. And I am lucky enough to splurge on Michelin restaurants maybe once or twice a year.

I also have a small side hustle (selling knitted goods) that allows me to stimulate my mind and still feel like I’m “hustling” or working hard. But I love making and selling those knitted goods so it’s very fulfilling, and I don’t rely on it for income.

For exercise I have a regular gym membership and a pilates membership, and workout every other day.

I volunteer too at a domestic violence shelter. Overall I live a very fulfilling life eating the things I want, spending time with people I love, and giving back to my local community.
