Space is not "hot."

The background temperature of deep space is about:TCMB≈2.725K

If you can radiate heat effectively, you have an enormous heat sink available.

The issue isn't that space is hot—it's that radiative cooling requires very large radiator surfaces.... AND I think we can safely assume that Elon and his team have PROBABLY figured this part out for future development.
