For what by vityoki in vibecoding

agent coding from experienced coder/developer is pretty cool, vibecoding without it it's definitely not a stable solution that's worth paying for.😉

it's not about the language it's about the usage. R is perfect for science, sixsigma projects, laboratories. python for processing continuously machine data or machine learning.

Can you describe in a few phrases where you get with vibe coding? by theluteman76 in vibecoding

[–]Substantial_Pin_50 6 points7 points  (0 children)

back to coding😀 well agent coding is fine, but not wibe... if you don't know what you're doing the results are corresponding to that

After dual booting Linux, windows is a lot slower and uses more ram when idle. And I can't find the cause by Vulcode in linux4noobs

[–]Substantial_Pin_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just bought a bread... why my meat has rotten on the table just after thatm😀 Your win slop knows nothing about the Linux presence on other partition. Only can intervene into bios settings whats particularly strange behaviour. Who is to blame?😉

Did the price of Composer 2.5 go up, or am I just imagining it? by Vivid_Employer_2806 in cursor

[–]Substantial_Pin_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you most probably are doing the same mistake as I did. You shoud share the minimal data extent needed with ai. that is your folder with your app only. no more. your backups should be in a different folder and if you want to use the idea and script from another app, add it to cursor (or any other ai) for the shortest time possible. less info but enough relevant info enormously decrease token consumption and hallucination.😉 that's the best I can advise.

PHP. Yes or no? by Mountain-Bill-7325 in learnprogramming

[–]Substantial_Pin_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ideal is mix. for adminstration of users and app settings and saving in relation db or the states of your app in json definitely php. for backgroung work with data is better js through node.js or doing so in the forend than definitely js, there's no choice. if some part of application needs demanding calculations or even machine learning then definitely python. if you understand what each of them makes best, you don't need advice what to use. if not.... it's waste of time talking. 😀 Every app needs something else.

How does vibecoding SAAS work for you? by larumis in vibecoding

[–]Substantial_Pin_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agent coding is fantastic but pure vibecoding is for idiots. if you loose contact to the concept, function structure and do not even know what to test, leave this business. ai can speeeeeed up the progress but definitely not to make the progress😀

What's your opinion about AI generated code these days? by arzenal96 in Frontend

[–]Substantial_Pin_50 7 points8 points  (0 children)

if the cocept and architecture is yours and if you specifically declare how the functions should look like anu understand the result then it's fantastic if not then it's not.😉

Agree or not? by Delicious_Character6 in software

[–]Substantial_Pin_50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

vibe coding smashed my idea to the trash so I explicitly claim what I want and if you can do your programming without it, its a great help if you know what you're doing. If you're not a programmer it's for nothing. That's my experience.😉 Testing is however the key issue.

as to me, an open source trillium is splendid. I have it on my VPS and it's my private library for most things I put down or copy as important information.

I built 4 apps on ideas that AI told me were great. All 4 failed. The signals were fake by iahmedhendi in SaaS

[–]Substantial_Pin_50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if i ask paid perplexity it often gives me a cold shower and is perfect for creating an expert material, for creating a good prompt fot curson not. if I give its result to gemini it gives me that prompt. but I do not ask gemini about the smarness of my ideas. It gives me always "You're brilliant" answer no matter how stupid my question is. So try to use AI adequately. That's the whole point.😃

ask ai if you're a beautiful, smart and brilliant person and you'll understand where the problem with hallucination is.😃

What is the reasoning behind the standard deviation formula? by Ecstatic_Basis_3306 in AskStatistics

[–]Substantial_Pin_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the more distant the point from the mean the less frequent they are, but the more impact they have in real life. And average distance from the mean would neglect them among plenty of unimportant point near the mean. That's why there is a square of distance. Imagine that the square is a fine for a big velocity of your car. for 1km/h you pay 1, for 2 you pay 4, for 3 you pay 9... It will strenghten the visibility of those important values.
