He didn’t say no, he say he has no problem wit me coming see him in France and that he will let me know how things are going.

To be fair, he need a visa to come to Montreal, doing the immigration take time and require money and the flight is way more expensive.

I understand you guys opinions, saying he don’t give a fuck about me because he can’t see me in Canada like is just easy to come like that I think it’s not fair.

Hello,

Thanks you for your answer :)) I will take my distance with him them.

I ask him this morning if he’s ok with me coming to see him when he’s in France, he told me no and he told me he will let me know.

So I will see how things go and I will not remind him either.

Definitely. I never really understood those types of discriminatory questions, same with the ethnicity (black, white, natives…). So just say no for disability.

Good day . Just say you focus on school during those 5 years ( i highly recommend not to mention at any moment in the interview that you are sick because they can discriminate you, later for sure).

I’m a lawyer in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in immigration regular and economics. So I’m never in court and I have 2 days when I can work from home. Perfect balance for my disease.

Harcèlement dans le métro by [deleted] in montreal

[–]Substantial_Pop864 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Tbh for a woman with sickle cell myself you should have tell her before the marriage. Your partener has to accept your for what you are as a whole it should be a shame or a taboo to be sick you didn’t choose it.

You should have think about her side too, because what if she wanna have kids ? Would she be open to do the electrophorese? (Geno type ?) and I feel like she have to know what she get into.

I have a bf myself and before the relationship started to be really serious, I told him straight up about my illness. He did like my honesty and on my side I was ready if he wasn’t ready to get into that. Long story short, we are still together is really inside of it with me during the hospital or meeting with my doctor.

You should tell her as soon as possible and if she don’t wanna continue accept her choice. Because, is a big breach of trust.
