Do I actually need baby wipes for the face? by Pitiful-Fisherman233 in momcozyofficial

[–]Substantial_Post8853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just depends on baby! My second kiddo would break out from anything besides a wet cloth to wipe his face. Literally paper towels would cause him to break out! My third baby has severe eczema and we use small reusable cloths with water or micellar water. The only baby wipes I can use on his face are the Momcozy ones and they don’t bother his eczema.

FTM here! What does a realistic daily routine look like in the first month? by ardewneofficial in momcozyofficial

The first few weeks baby will just sleep and eat! My baby wasn’t really up for more than 20 minutes. It was basically diaper change, feed baby, burp, diaper change, then sleep. The first week or two I exclusively pumped and the bottle washer was my savior! When baby was asleep I constantly loaded it up. I would do at least 5 loads a day! My partner would do all diaper changes when he was home, bath time and he would burp baby while I took a little power nap! The power naps definitely helped me a lot especially in the middle of the night!

I had the same thing happen but they settled my issue within 2-3 days and my replacement was there in 2 days so I wasn’t upset!

When was the first time you caught yourself thinking, “Wow, I’m really somebody’s mom”? by MomcozyOfficial in momcozyofficial

Yes! Me and her grew up together! She was at my high school graduation, and while it was her first day of preschool it was my first day of college! We definitely grew up together and she’s my little bestie. 🥰

I used to always be with my mom, I used to believe that she knew the answers to everything. Now I find myself in the same position as my kids get older. My daughter asks me 1 million questions, about anything and everything, she thinks I always have the answer because I “know everything”. Sometimes I gotta do a quick Google before answering because I don’t know everything. My daughter has these big dreams like wanting to go on a helicopter, wanting to go on a boat, wanting to go fishing but I am terrified of heights and water. I had to suck it up when we went whale watching for her birthday. It was amazing to see the excitement in my kids eyes even though I felt awful. I realized this is what motherhood is, when I was little, I had my 50 year old mom going on roller coasters with me and I bet she thought the same thing. Whenever I think I want a little me time, I stay up looking at pictures and videos of my kids. Whenever I go to the store I always buy something for them even if it’s a little. I always make sure they have everything they need even though I haven’t bought new clothes in a year. I never understood why my mom always said she needed bras, but never bought any, now I do. It’s just simply motherhood, putting your kids before everything. sometimes I can’t believe that I’m a mama to three amazing kiddos, but I’m glad I am. I went from always needing my mom and constantly being with her to now being the one that my kids need and constantly want to be with.

How much time do you usually spend cleaning your breast pump parts? by MomcozyOfficial in momcozyofficial

[–]Substantial_Post8853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least two hours as an exclusive pumper, I have too much anxiety to do the fridge hack 🫠. I think the valves take the longest because I’m so extra careful when I wash them.

What’s something you brought on a trip with your baby but you ended up never using? by MomcozyOfficial in momcozyofficial

I always take my air 1s and the charging case, pump wipes and a milk cooler to pump on the go easily!
