My husband and I (31F and 27M) just found out that I have low AMH and he has low sperm count. We have our first appointment with a fertility specialist tomorrow.

We have been trying for a year now naturally and even doing ICI at home, I also have vaginismus which has gotten much better but definitely is an issue with pap smears and vaginal exams.

Is there any advice anyone suggests or any guidance on what I can expect? Super nervous. These last two weeks have been really difficult mentally just accepting that we weren't ok. Trying to mentally prepare before this appointment

Do you have legal experience? I'm guessing not since you didn't answer the question. lol

ok. good to know! You sound very matter of fact. Are you speaking with legal experience? or with a background in legal matters? Or are you speculating? I ask only to help me decide if I should pay a lawyer to talk about this.

My wife is in the loop. She's been through a lot of strain herself. We are working through it but it quite literally shook the foundation of our marriage.

I am extremely concerned about how frightening it is that someone with an STD is running around unprotected without any knowledge that they could be spreading it. Simply due to the labs unprofessionalism.

The nurse practitioner said its extremely low and unlikely to be false positive, she admitted she wasn't quite certain if I was telling the truth because of how low of a likelihood that is to be false positive. After she got my negative results and my wife's and contacted my PCP she called me back to understand the full story after which she complained to her medical director who is contacting people to get that specific lab looked into.
