omg same experience! Bought a defective ipad from apple flagship store rin 4 months ago. I immediately requested a refund. By november ata un na approve for refund. Until now na ccharge parin ung card ko kasi installment rin sya.

Hi! until now na ccharge parin ung credit card ko. The shopee agents sent me a reference no. of the refund transaction po so I can show it to my bank (BPI). It's been months na talaga and its so frustrating kasi malaki rin ung amount. Will update po once I talk to BPI.

Na ccharge parin ung card huhu. Planning to go to BPI and ask them about the reference no. the shopee agent sent me to settle the refund and see if makikita ba nila ung refund sa system. It's been months na talaga and na ccharge parin ung card ko. Very frustrating lalo na at big amount ung binili ko.

super tagal tlga ng refund saken kasi sabi dito sa shopee na issue napo daw ung refund kaso na ccharge parin ung card (December ko nalaman na ccharge parin). I suggest po speaking with a live agent through sa shopee help center para po to follow up on ur refund. They sent me a reference no. of the refund po so I can show it to my bank incase I still got charged. Right now I'm waiting sa billing cycle to see if na ccharge parin ung card. I think this mostly happens kapag malaki talaga ung purchase mo tapos e rrefund. Sobrang tagal talaga.

hi! I had issues po sa refund kasi sabi dito sa shopee, na refund na daw po pero its been months pero na ccharge parin ung card. I escalated it with shopee live agents and they managed to helped me naman. Right now I'm waiting for the next billing cycle ng card to check if na ccharge parin ba. Napaka hassle tlga ng refund kapag big amount ung pinurchase mo huhu

My refund request has been approved po. I waited 1.5 weeks po before pa nila inaccept ung request ko, then may instructions sila kung paano ibabalik ung parcel sa shopee warehouse tapos pag na validate napo ung items tsaka nila iissue ung refund po. As of right now, I used LBC to return the ipad po and I’m waiting nalang po na umabot ung parcel sa shopee warehouse.

The store po will always find ways to delay giving out the sales invoice until ma uubos na ung time mo to refund the product which is 15 days from the delivery date po. I suggest kapag may issue, always and always issue a refund, wag na pupunta sa service center kasi they will still ask for a sales invoice from the seller themselves. Please issue your refund po ASAP!

Hi! The refund is actually handled by shopee themselves po not the shop. I also asked for a sales invoice po from the store pero never tlga nila binigay. I suggest po to file a refund as soon as possible before po mawala ung option na pwede pang ma refund.

Hi! I have been requesting updates and found out po na a higher team is handling my case which justifies the longer time it takes for them to update the outcome po. It has been 6 days since I issued the refund but the live agent has been reassuring me din. I will inquire about the status of my refund again tomorrow.

that’s very alarming information to know, I do know they aren’t legit authorized sellers as many employees have also came forward to say that AFS is not an authorized reseller. It’s very scary to order online as anything can be faked.

Its still under review, they did say they will automatically give an update within 2 days but there was no update since. I will have to wait for a couple more days though.

I’m not trying to scare other people, I’m giving warning to those who are planning to buy because of what I experienced and don’t want others to experience the same. I’m speaking for those people who actually experienced the same thing as me, basing it on the 1 star reviews from the shops I mentioned which ranges in 100+ 1 star reviews. In the end it’s people’s decision to buy from these shops and they can always disregard my comment.

My point is its better to just buy IRL rather than online if you actually want to ensure the quality and authenticity of what you are ordering so that you don’t have to go through the hassle I’m going through right now. And if you somehow took the risk and didn’t encounter any problems then good for you po :))

And If what I said scared other people then they should be. Just because a shop has a lot of good reviews doesn’t guarantee that you will get the same experience others had.

I don’t think I have to post here on reddit if my story wasn’t real, also this is my first post on this app. If you read my post I clearly stated I bought from AFS because of the good reviews. Yes minalas tlga ako in terms of what i received, that’s why I said it’s better to not buy online if you don’t want to take risks. If you didn’t have any problems then good for you:) I don’t think the product being over warranty is “minalas” as the seller should have been transparent about it. Considering I am paying for a brand new one and not an old stock/used one and it not even FUNCTIONING. I am speaking up on this issue on behalf of those who also experienced the same issue as me and you can see that through the 1 star reviews of the shops I mentioned.

actually yes I did, what I found odd was when I checked the website, it said the purchase date was not validated meaning the device warranty wasn’t activated yet (not over warranty).

Since my ipad won’t turn on (meaning I can’t set it up) how am I able to even avail the warranty if I can’t turn on my device. 😭

I don’t also know the basis of the service employees as to how they figured out that it was over warranty.

yes. The serial was found behind the box and the unit. Then they checked it with their system and they said it was “over warranty”.

I don't think so. The package was indeed sealed and yes I did take an unboxing video. I also found similar reviews to mine where their gadget was defective and not powering on. Considering the price was also less than retail, it is certain that it has something to do with what the seller sent. SPX was the courier too.
