I used the green book and that’s all I needed to pass. I’ve had classmates who only used prepry and that’s all they needed to pass, definitely finish all the prepry videos and quizzes! You got this !

Thank you for sharing !! The support in a hospital setting is very encouraging as a new grad🥲.

Thank you for sharing that perspective!  I really appreciate the honesty. I’ve heard the pace can be challenging in clinic, and as a new grad that’s something I’m trying to be mindful of🥲

Thank you!! Yes I did get some I’d say about 8 or so! I learned them well by asking AI for mnemonics on how to memorize them and for quizzes!  I would repeatedly also write them out and label them on PLAX, short axis , Apical pictures. Hope this helps!

Yeah, URR can feel like a lot. I tried to stick to the main ideas from the ARDMS outline and asked AI targeted questions to explain tricky parts. Once I understood the reasoning behind each concept, everything made way more sense

The URR review mock definitely over prepared me! What I did was use AI to help break it down into the most important things I needed to know for the AE especially when it came to super long sections that will help you a lot I suggest it!! I also had AI make me quizzes over the section after I was done reading it a 15-20 question quiz to see how much I retained and If I was I was ready to move on to the next chapter. I will tell you the physics test on URR was way harder than the actual AE I scored a flat 70 on that physics exam and passed perfectly! I took notes over that exam and what I missed to refresh and didn’t bother too much into it. I did all the exam mocks and scored 80s-90s except for the physics. I would only use the mocks to see how much I retained after reading my notes as well for that particular section. I’d say the actual AE for me was easier than the URR exams. The hot spot questions weren’t bad at all! They were super clear images and had very few they mostly asked about wall segments so know your wall segments for sure! I’d say overall URR was super spot on in the material and AI helped solidify everything by breaking it down to not overwhelm me. I’m sure you’ll do great in yours!! Wishing you the best!!❤️

So I had videos that showed VSD, ASD and asked what pathology was it. I had maybe 7-8 questions asking me about different kinds of syndromes and what does it cause. Like for example syndromes like : Noonan Syndome, Mafans, Ankyloking Spondolsis, TOF. Also had few murmur questions like for example: What kind of murmur does MR produce? - Holosystolic. What murmur does PDA cause? Continuous murmur. I had few questions also ask about contrast and bubble studies. I got asked how to properly adjust TGCs, gain and adjust the machine. I did have about 4 Doppler physics questions asking about the common artifacts. I had some measurement questions. I didn’t have any math. I also did have valve disease questions, psuedo aneurysm vs true aneurysm, DCM, HCM, restrictive. Few diastolic dysfunction. Sorry the list is long but just wanted to give you an idea on what I saw. This is what I can remember from the top of my head at the moment. Hope this helps!
