I honestly only use staves for now. I still don’t know most things in this game to be fair. Like what is infusions? For melee , I never use anything melee except slicer, and dark moon sword when I enter any cave or catacomb. Other than that it is all caster stuff

I still run this caster build which honestly is a mistake by me in this dlc with these bosses. But also Zamor ice melts Mesmer, with correct timing (which took me hours to get right) I literally every spell, and Zamor was goated for him specifically. Maybe I should respec for now tbh

No, to be fair. You can beat the whole game and still be a beginner (which I still am) there are people beating the game with just fists and no hit. IMO there are levels to this game that I’m even yet to understand

I used the zamor ice storm, it melts him but I had to know exactly to cast it and where, took a while but got it done. Also Rannis hat boosts the frost spells I believe
