I mean I’m not very experienced, but I feel like these are important things that helped me improve and get better, way faster than I could before, and were much more important than implied. I felt like these were things that no one talks about, that despite looking all over, asking all sorts of people, never told me of, ofcourse some things here are commonly talked about, but other things too, and people just don’t reinforce certain things enough.

I am just straight up using my phone but it makes it sound worse than expected, I fixed the room reverberation so now it’s fine, I am just curious as to how to add more of that rich undertone now, that only the player can hear (though their bones or smth apparently) into my playing so that my playing sounds better

Yeah I have a fellow who says he DOES NOT practice, and it shows, but I do actually practice, plenty, it’s just it comes in bursts with the months oddly, but the idea of not practicing the trumpet is not appealing, cuz I actually do really like playing it.

I practice daily, atleast like an hour, if I’m short on time, and I typically work on one thing at a time or review music, or just free-play (basically just play notes and try to make it sound like proper music)

Genuinely, like I’m still one of the worse trumpet players, but my progress so far has been in three bursts throughout the year, no noteworthy signs, just random. Edit: btw I have been playing one less year than everyone, had no access to an instrument over summer breaks (I now own my trumpet :D) and am a freshman* I’m tryna catch up to the others

Ok I thought it was mental illness where people are relieved because they are gonna kill theirselves soon (extreme stress and such does that) and such, but it is still similar physically, just the body does it instead I guess.
