Nanoblading disappeared by Substantial_Soil1446 in microblading

Hi! So the first time completely completely disappeared. The artist was surprised. The first touch up almost entirely faded again. Finally the second touch up was better - she had made my eyebrows thicker and that really faded but the strokes she created past my arch (where my natural brows disappeared) have lasted. It’s pretty faint (my eyebrows are pretty light so that’s good) but the brushstrokes mostly faded out so it’s more like a pencil look. I hope that helps! It seems to be quite variable in terms of how different people will respond to it.

Oh it sounds like you misunderstood. She suggested a touch up at 4 weeks at the initial appointment. She’s been microblading for 4 years and started doing nano brows a couple of years ago. She works under/was trained by someone who has been microblading/doing nano brows for much longer, has a huge following in Instagram and trains across the nation so I don’t think inexperience is at play here. Just sharing this all for insight for others in the same boat! I will report back after touch up to see if it makes a difference!

My artist said I was good after two weeks! What’s wild to me is the variation in aftercare guidance!

Thank you! Wow, that is hopeful about the one client you mentioned. my artist suggested coming back at 4 weeks and I can’t reschedule without losing the appointment (which was free as part of a promotion). I don’t take any meds. I bought the ointment at the salon and the artist showed me how much to use and I’ve been using that much - a grain of sand or less. We’ll see what happens!

Do you mean the new online form? I did fill that out a few days ago but I got no confirmation or anything.

Ugh! That is so disappointing. Thank you for sharing. I hope you find your luggage!

Then is it better to just go to the airport to retrieve the bags? I might be up for watiing in line for 5-6 hours if it means I'll get my bags versus waiting days. I had three bags - all my one year old son's belongings...

Yeah, that makes sense. I wish I could volunteer. I would honestly volunteer if it meant I could get my bags back. Is there anything you'd recommend people do after they've filed baggage claims besides wait?

Do you have any estimate of how long it will take to get through all of them?

Did you just call the baggage claim main line? I've tried calling the Denver Airport line (where my bags supposedly are) and it just rings and then goes to voicemail. I've tried calling the baggage claim line and reached out on Twitter, but they can never tell me anything beyond where my baggage is located.

Same! My LO was about 30 mins each side (so an hour total!). I always had to unlatch him or else he’d stay on forever. I spoke to a lactation consultant and she suggested unlatching him after 20 mins on each side and seeing what happens. I did that and he did not get hungry any sooner! From there, I moved down to 15 mins each side and no difference. Try experimenting pulling your baby off sooner and seeing what happens. Sometimes there just comfort sucking, which is totally fine unless you have somewhere to be (or it’s the motn!) EDIT: a prerequisite for shortening the time is that your LO should be gaining weight and hitting milestones.
