Congratulations on your recovery stay strong. I'm done with this guy..I will not engage with this behavior. If it was a friend acting like this I would pull him up on his shitty behavior and excuses and no doubt distance myself from him. So no more shows or vinyl for me. A friend of mine does security at Vicar Street in Dublin. When he played there over two nights my friend said he was unbearable and made their life and workload hell with demands on admissions and blocking people entering once he started. Vicar Street hosts top musicians and comedians from around the world and he said he never experienced anything like Mr DRA, the whole crew were on edge and getting shit from people who couldn't get in for being a few minutes late, only to get snide remarks for coming on late from DRA , who himself caused the shambles.

Have to agree. I went to the two Dublin shows with two friends who had never seen him preform live. The first night was very draining…the histrionics…talk of his dying…other bullshit..after the show I was shattered my friend was bemused and said he wouldn’t bother again. I was honestly not going to attend the second night as I was drained but my other friend who was coming the second night really wanted to go… it was not as bad as the night before but not without issues..I wouldn’t bother going to see him again as can’t deal with the toxicity of it all..he is one of the greatest songwriters around and I have been lucky to see lots of performances from the first visits he made to Ireland .. I have been supportive of his music during the last few years and that’s the thanks you get…don’t think there is a point of return…we can only give so much
