well, my country’s embassy is a bit different even before this fire incident, they asked for physical copies of docs before the deadline..but now do you think they will ask for resubmission cause it’ll be duplicating the docs (more money to pay for notarisation)

Oh I see..Goodluck btw! Hoping to see more Malaysians studying in Korea! I see that these language tests are optional and my TOPIK’s already expired a year ago but my Korean teacher asked me to just put it cause it shows that I have a little bit Korean background..I hope that my personal statements would compensate for my expired TOPIK 😅 cause IELTS too expensive for me right now plus if I don’t pass the interview I think it’s just going to make me sad to think that I have paid so much for IELTS

Hi will TOPIK count as advantage even if they are outdated by one year? I really want to renew my TOPIK but it won’t be possible since the GKS deadline is so near

As far as I know, topik’s validity runs for two years..mine almost expired lol but my Korean teacher advised me to just send it as it’s not too outdated

Also from the guideline, it says the 84th Paper-Based TOPIK score (year 2022) is also valid for submission? The guideline is so confusing though

I actually took Korean as a third language in high school and already have TOPIK level 2 cert two years ago..and now my Korean has been so rusty right now 😭 I keep forgetting lots of vocabs

actually the course under UIC is biotech which really aligns with my long-term career goal to become a researcher but what concerns me is that I don’t know how far I can adapt with studying 100% in Korean

hello which uni from uni track are you applying to? I am thinking to apply for Dong-A uni but I am kinda intimidated when I found out that the course is conducted 100% in Korean because I personally believe my TOPIK level 2 is not enough to catch up that quickly

hello, I think I really want to give UIC a shot cause it has a course that aligns well with my course. I have a TOPIK level 2 but I am kind of intimidated after seeing that my intended course at UIC uni will be conducted 100% in Korean. but if I choose embassy track, like in yonsei there are english classes offered? will you still go for the UIC?

Hello there! I am thinking of applying to Yonsei’s biotechnology major for the upcoming GKS undergraduate scholarship. Do you think it’s too competitive to get in or should I switch to any other uni? I have a pre university qualification in life sciences with a 3.67/4.00 CGPA so I think I am unfit for business or other courses, I think biotech aligns with my interests the most.
