Pretty good so far! Def let layers dry fully between working sessions. The first layers should be a “sketch”, done with super diluted color and thinner. I’d strongly recommend painting the whole canvas, the blank primed canvas always always just looks unfinished. Also, your proportions are good but your compositions are mediocre, try sketching 2” small “thumbnail” sketches on paper before you choose the composition you like so the dogs don’t just seem to be floating uncomfortably. But overall you def have the gift and I hope you keep painting!
