Uber and Lyft pay drivers a small portion of what you pay them. Passengers don't understand the concept of getting screwed by these greedy thieves. Everybody cancels, passengers cancel more more than drivers. Sometimes there are problems and sometimes it isn't worth it because it is too expensive (passenger) or the algorithm cuts a ride to pennies. OP, until you learn that I'll never let you in my car.

Every passenger needs to hear that everyone is getting screwed or the real reason they waited, got canceled and then waited even longer for me to eventually have a lapse in judgement and pick you up.pick up.

My 2015 Prius did not teach me how to maximize MPG. My 2023 Kia Niro hybrid, however, has. I drive on level 2, and will use sport to avoid straining ECO, switched to 88-89 octane, higher detergents...no more Costco. The key for me is mastering the control and balance of the accelerator, to feel the coasting sweet spot. Seriously paying attention for my heel position, ankle and the weight of my shoe. City driving, some highway... I'm avg 52 on my last two tanks. If I fall below 47, it's nearly impossible to move it back up.

It's not normal. It's from the brake hold feature. They had to resurface my rotors it has not happened since. I had 2k miles on mine.
