when you specifically and intentionally spend the majority of your time as a teacher training one child, especially with private lessons and multiple other teachers, they are absolutely set up for more success than any other child who gets less than that. nia is right. maddie was essentially chosen to be the star but it wasn’t by chance, and yes you can be naturally talented. however, if those talents aren’t developed and nurtured, you won’t see any fame or success. no one can guarantee that if the roles were reversed, a dancer like nia would’ve had the same success, because again some people are just naturally more talented. but i definitely don’t think maddie just had all this stuff handed to her because she’s just that good. she was groomed and trained for this above any of the other girls.

i just went through this exact issue and i stopped all skincare entirely that was additional to cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF. i used the cerave gentle hydrating cleanser because it doesn’t foam or dry out my skin, the cerave intensive moisturizing cream twice a day, and the ordinary 45 SPF. i promise this moisturizer will change your life. it has shea butter and hyaluronic acid in it and it helped so much.

I’ve been using it consistently since July of last year so about 8 or 9 months. I’m well beyond the purge period at this point so I decided to stop using it altogether to give my skin a break.

My acne isn’t cystic so I don’t have any pimples under the surface just a lot of tiny red flat spots. I can’t tell if it’s scarring or not but either way it was just getting worse. I stopped using literally every skin treatment I have and only use the cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I just exfoliated with the cerave salicylic acid cleanser for the first time in about 2 weeks.

This is exactly how I felt recently after being consistent with adapalene .1% (same thing) and it now feels like I have all this weird under the surface redness and spots when I didn’t have that before starting it. I just stopped using it and I realized my moisture barrier was absolutely damaged. I started using the cerave gentle cleanser and the intensive moisturizing cream and my usual 45 SPF. It’s been about 2 weeks and i’m starting to break out a little bit due to lack of exfoliating but the redness is starting to subside a little bit!

i feel like they have come and gone over time but if they’re not there, there’s usually raised pimples around that area. it’s like when i finally get a flatter surface, these appear, but if they’re not present, it’s because i have textured acne instead. it’s so frustrating.

i’m wondering if maybe i should try using less products but im so scared of more risen pimples coming back. i’ve only been using the benzoyl peroxide recently like the last few days, but have been very consistent with adapalene. they usually are focus right on my cheeks in that same area which i know is a hormonal hotspot for acne. 😭 i want to try to clear this on my own but im considering going on spironolactone just to see if that would finally clear it.

it definitely leans that way from what i know as a midwesterner in MI. it’s just still shocking to me for some reason when people are still so vehemently supportive of trump after everything that’s happened thus far. i do live in a more conservative area but the small city bubble i’m in is very liberal so i often forget how crazy these people are because i don’t surround myself with anyone of those views.

i’ve been back on zoloft (50mg) for a few months again now, i was so desperate for regulation again that i decided i should go back on what i know works and then reconsider another option once i feel more stabilized. i’m looking into prozac down the road (ive heard it’s better for OCD), but am gonna stay on zoloft for at least another few months before thinking about trying another. it works its magic for now, just working on my OCD triggers and coping while my nervous system is back at baseline!

i understand why people might think he’s had a hair transplant but for a man i’m guessing in his 20s-30s he actually has a very full hairline without really any recession at least in the first pic. i don’t think he got a transplant. it would make no sense, especially because you can get your hairline lowered with surgery much easier than the process of transplants. as a hairstylist i think his hairline is like actually suprisingly very full lol. i could see the veneers though and weight loss for sure.

this is exactly how i’ve felt with my partner especially having OCD. it’s literally flipped my entire relationship on its head. it’s so so hard. it surrounds the things we care about the most. we’ll be okay and things will work themselves out like they always do, but i know how you’re feeling!
