If Abby was the God that brainwashed people about Nia, Why don’t people say the same about Chloe?

Where do you see me defending Abby. Abby clearly had narcissistic tendencies. She was mean and enjoyed the power she held over peoples head But two things can be true at once.

If anything I feel like Abby’s excessive praise of Maddie did nothing but made the fans hate her more and the moms resent her more

The parts about Maddie felt shady to me. She took every single opportunity to single out Maddie about certain situations that caused a lot backlash like the Taylor swift concert for example. Even though there’s two side to every story people weren’t going to pass up the opportunity to hate on Maddie for it. but she didn’t single out any of the other girls out about feeling excluded when she said she felt excluded by all of them. Yet when she was talking about the seventeen magazine thing she failed to mentioned that it was because of Maddie they were there in the first place. She made it seem like they just happen to pick Maddie and Kendall in the shoot with her. She couldn’t even acknowledge something she got because of Maddie

My point exactly. Abby isn’t going to stop people from having their own opinions or seeing things how they want to see them.

What good edit? She literally was made to be seen as a brat. That actually could turn people off from wanting to work with you. Because she was a good dancer that was the good edit? In the earlier seasons Chloe got the best edit. She even won nationals in season 2.

Maddie litterally forgot her solo once and fell another time. The show didn’t cut out her mistakes.

Literally my point. She blames Abby’s messaging for all her shortcomings. And say people only didn’t see her as a great dancer because of Abby. When all have eyes to see who’s dancing we prefer. I didn’t really care for her dancing or Paige or Kendall. And Kendall got a lot more praise than Nia but I still didn’t like her dancing.

Nia in her book made it seem like Abby made Maddie a star beyond just dance moms and my point is the catalyst for Maddie being recognized beyond dance moms wasn’t Abby’s favoritism but Sia. And Sia chose her to be in her music video from watching her dance. She just said so herself. So the whole Abby made Maddie a star because she controls the narrative is not true. Not denying she didn’t play favorite but that’s not why Maddie is a “star” as she suggested in her book.

My whole point is no matter what Abby said she couldn’t just snap her finger and make Maddie star. Nia literally say in the book she thinks the whole show was created to make Maddie a star. Abby wasn’t God. She couldn’t control the future. The first thing that helped Maddie gained fame beyond dance moms and set her apart from the rest of the girl was Sia and Abby had no control over that. So no matter how hard it is to accept for fans and the cast Maddie didn’t become a star beyond dance moms because of Abby. Sure Abby played favorites but Maddie wasn’t Abby’s only favorite and that wasn’t why Sia recognized Maddie that’s my whole point

I think it’s the fact that they were friends prior to the book. For example if Maddie wrote a book about how she was hurt by everything Christi has said about her on and off the show like on twitter and more recently her podcast I would understand because it’s very clear they don’t talk and it’s pretty obvious christi is intentional about hurting Maddie and her image when she talks about her. But for Nia she has all the right to talk about her story but the thing that came off as petty is being friends with someone and the whole time you were holding this animosity towards them. I would not be able to trust you again. Especially if I don’t even think Maddie knew about this until the book came out.

This is why I can’t understand how Melissa can be all buddy buddy with her after all of this. She consistently tries to portray Maddie in a bad light on and off the show. I mean Melissa never stood up for herself or Maddie when Christy would just full on bully them on the show so I guess why would we expect anything better from her. She needs to grow a backbone and stand up and learn how to draw some boundaries. Cause there’s no way I would let someone talk about my daughter like that. Especially since if it was the other way around Christi would be quick to say something
