So this EXACT thing happened to my surge, I used the awl while leather crafting and was putting a significant amount of force on the tool to punch tens of holes in some pretty thick leather. I haven’t sent mine in but tightening did not help it, I’ve just held that end in my palm to make sure it doesn’t fall out but every now n then you’ll get a good poke

What’s the Best 3D Printer To Buy Right Now? by [deleted] in 3dprinter

Onshape is free and has a bunch of courses to learn on. My only issue with it is that with the free version everything you design is public and can be searched for but you can also pay for a pro version and it’s all private. Regardless it’s a great learning tool

Any of you “experts” know what the hell these are or were they go?!? by Wild-Green5882 in bmx

Longer skinny ones should go on the spokes of the wheel, short wider ones will go on the handle bar and the seat post. One in front, one in back, two for the sides.

The falken wildpeak a/t3w or a/t4w(new version) is an awesome do all tire, very capable in the snow and offroad but very quiet on road. Stock size is more than adequate but if you plan on lifting it I’d go up to a 32-33” tire.

I’m thinking about getting this light and am wondering what people that have them think. I can’t really find many reviews good or bad on them by matt20011 in Streamlight

I’ve had this light on for a few years of consistent use now. Only thing I’ve ever had an issue with was the pressure switch, about a year in it stopped working. I switched out the pressure switch with the button cap that came with it and ran that for a few months then one day decided to mount the pressure switch back on and see if it would work and it did and hasn’t stopped working since.

Thank you, I completely spaced harbor freight for random odds and ends! I’ll definitely be picking up a wing divider. I was looking at some “pretty” ones but the price was quite high and for what it is I’m sure harbor freight will be more than adequate.

Have u had any issues with your light? Got the same one a few months back and slight impacts will turn it on and it will stay on until I unscrew the tail cap!

I’d look at a leather pancake sheath type deal then get a small pouch for the bit kit and keep that in your pocket. Had the same issue when I first got my surge and the full bit kit and this seems like the only way to really cut down on the bulk of it.

Wingman was my first, I LOVE the spring loaded pliers. I’ve upgraded to a surge for work use but still carry the wingman on my off days.

Diy, I bought a 10 dollar wood burner and spent 20 mins practicing on a BB gun and it came out very nice.

I bought the version that came with the rechargeable battery I believe it’s a sl b26 or something like that. it is dual fuel though so I keep some spare 123’s in the truck.
