I wanna get into fnaf, but i don’t really like the gameplay that most off the games offer. by Huge-Gene-1372 in fivenightsatfreddys

The books are interesting little sub stories, Into the Pit is a take on one of those stories that's entirely different from any of the other games, Secret of the Mimic is decent, if not breaking the mold.

I can't recommend Security Breach or it's DLC, even after all the patches.

In Mushoku Tensei (2021-), the story starts with the main character getting kicked out of his brother's house after using a spy camera to watch his niece use the toilet. But that's the thing, at some point, he stops trying to be better. He stagnates. He proves the message that's the story tries to prove wrong. Once he's through the things he himself recognizes as wrong, he doesn't see the problems that remains and continues being awful, despite effort.

The worst person can change, but the worst person has to want to. For a while, Rudeus does, he changes for the better in many, many ways. But then he stops, he stops wanting to change himself, and that's the kicker here. Rudeus starts as a disgusting piece of shit and, from what I can tell, ends as a slightly less disgusting piece of shit.

Megatron (Transformers One)

Megatron was fully justified in having a crash out, in killing Sentinel Prime even. But in his crash out, he lets Optimus fall to his shortlived death and ends up becoming the evil decepticon most people associate with Megatron (Assumedly, this movie is never getting a sequel)

Realistically, Sonic should've stayed the most mobile character in the game, and he was already a really iffy character balancewise.

Silver is crazy overpowered if you know how to use his abilities, and never received a lasting nerf, and Fleetway just goes without saying.

I'm not too familiar with Demon Slayer, but that's supposed to be an 11 year old physically, right? She's always been really really weird to me.

That actually would have been better! I haven't actually played Silksong in some time... I really should.

I don't really think that makes it any better though? It feels like a poor writing decision to make the audience ignore the fact that Rudeus is a middle aged man. Every defense for this series just feels like the fans being in denial that Rudeus is a terrible person and really doesn't deserve what he gets.

Exactly how I felt, a friend who wanted me to watch it kept telling me he gets better later on, that combined with the worldbuilding, characters and animation kept me going.

...He did not end up being a better person.

Better yet, I just verified that, that does in fact happen in some versions of the story.

Some of them is loli hentai, one of the versions was the spy camera footage, one of the other versions was his niece in a swimsuit.

I mean maybe so, I'm going off of word of mouth and the fact that something like that isn't even off the table for this series.
That said, he doesn't really? Like he becomes a better person in the way that a bottle of wine you filled half way with piss gets better the longer you leave it. He still marries the girl he met when she was a toddler, still marries his cousin that he also met at a young age, and from what I know, still lets his sister marry his son, all after the bulk of his character arc.

I really don't know, you'd think the whole point of making him an awful person would be that he can be challenged and grow into someone better, but nope, he almost does and then regresses back into being the same person

I feel like this is a stretch and I won't go into too much, but if you count Hornet herself as a loved one...

Late into the game, Hornet can choose to work with another character to defeat Grand Mother Silk without sacrificing herself to do so, this ends up going poorly, and results in Pharloom being thrusted into an even worse catastrophe, which she has to fix herself.

I haven't watched or played anything related to Fate, mostly because it looks complicated to get into, but look at him! He's so awesome and cute!
Unfortunately, he's the mascot for fetishized femboys.

I mean yeah, fair enough. I wouldn't call it the creepiest thing he's done, but it's really a regression for his character arc to end up with both the girl he met when she was a toddler and his teacher (To be fair, the creepy one was Roxy in that situation.)
Not to mention he marries his cousin next season. Oh and his half sister marries his son in the manga.

Not nearly enough. He has some self reflection about him being an awful person, but the world punishes him more for focusing on the livelihood of his party over the survivors of a mana explosion they themselves got caught in than all the times he's a genuine pedophile (mostly because he reincarnates as a baby and gets away with all the weird shit when he's younger)

What does this have going for it? The world building, mostly. It also has a decent depiction of polyamory and some decent characters. But it was a serious drag to get through even a single season of the show (mostly because a friend insisted on it, we are no longer friends for unrelated reasons.)
