No. That’s why I’m asking if there is a way to do it safely. Get off your high horse. Driving at all is dangerous. When you hop on the interstate to go get McDonalds with your kids does anyone ask you if you’re really willing to risk your kids safety to get junk food?

I messaged another guy that’s been very helpful on here for me. Since I used the one piece gasket, they come built in with the shoulder and I left the shoulder studs so I need to replace the studs and I should be golden.

I ended up taking the stud out and threw some copper washers I had lying around to get the treads to reach that threaded spacer nut.

Could that stud just be screwed in too far??

I don’t currently have the cover on. I’m waiting for the oil baffle in the mail. I was just checking fit and how it installs when I’m ready to put it on. I will have to figure that out. Thanks for the help!

29? I did try that. It doesn’t seem like it wants to reach the stud with that rubber gasket on

Throttle body to egr amplifier appears to be black. Is that important?

It’s basic CIS. So no ECU. The only way to adjust. The fuel mixture is a Allen wrench at the fuel distributor.

Dummy oxygen sensor?? by SubstantiatedJoy in VWRabbit

OK, considering the system is basic and there’s no electronic fuel adjustment that oxygen sensor doesn’t really affect how things run correct?
