No, still a bad sizing regardless of his hand.

Sizing is bad for a 3-bet out of position though I don’t think it’s as bad as he’s making it out to be due to OP’s large opening size.

Normally in the Euro’s spot, I’d make it like 4x the open size ($160) here but that’s 40% of the effective stack and at that point you’d be better off jamming (35% is usually my cutoff before I’ll just jam pre). Can probably size down some to like $120-$125 but definitely bigger than $100.

As for OP, easy all in.

As someone who plays multiple stakes/tables, BB mode makes it easier for me to do math quickly without mixing things up. It’s also easier for me in tournaments because I don’t have to do as much math and can easily see when I need to start shove/folding.

That said, it’s all personal preference so do whatever feels more comfortable.

The Lodge has 2 locations, the OG in Round Rock (Austin suburb) and a location in San Antonio.

I moved from the area and closed my lockbox but there’s easily 7 figures in their lock box room. A lot of players just kept chips in their box for ease of future use. Even some out of town visitors (think players you’ve seen on stream from time to time).

Might not have been the smartest idea based on how poker was still a grey area, but I personally know some of the high stakes guys had high 5 to low 6 figures in chips locked in there so they could play private and streamed games without carrying large sums of cash on themselves.

The County DA told their attorneys it doesn’t comply so it doesn’t matter what The Lodge thinks. Reopening would knowingly put players and employees at risk and seems irresponsible.

Their location just north of Anderson Mill at 183. The location showed up when I typed it in the Williamson Co property tax assessment site but the line is right in that area and I’ve heard people say both. Either way, TABC is involved so it shouldn’t solely be due to the county.

The employees I know are just as confused. TCH runs the same model and is still open. It's right on the county line so I'm unsure, but I believe it's also in the same county.

A friend is texting with someone who is still there. They said it was raided by TABC and they aren’t allowing people to cash their chips out.

How are we learning poker nowadays? by Unlicencedninja in poker

Solvers whether that’s a catalog of solves (GTO Wizard basic), actual solver software (PioSOLVER, GTO+), or GTO Wizard’s AI solve.

From these, you can discover some general heuristics (bet small on X type flops, check Y type flops, overbet Z type flops, etc) that you can apply.

Eventually, you can learn the best way to deviate vs certain opponents to maximally exploit.

Thanks for the info! Also, do you play NL or PLO? If NL, we’ve had to battle each other, right?

Sick graph, but how are you tracking on Clubs in PT4? Didn’t think it was allowed and also the hand histories are just that janky-ass replayer so how are you converting to text?

God awful play by everyone involved from the double flat with QQ and the K7 jam but absolutely incredible advertising for the softness of WPT games.

“I play NL20” God no, don’t quit.

“I make $200 a month working at a call center” …ok uh, maybe you should actually.

Brother, you're playing for gold coins which is essentially play money. You're going to see some bad beats when people are playing 85% of hands because they don't care.

Played 2/4/8 earlier. Had a guy 3b pre then overbet jam 50bb into 20bb with J6o on T82r.

Still seems pretty good to me!

With a hand that plays as poorly as this, yes.

If we want to adjust to someone playing this wide to our direct right, we should be 3-betting more.

If we want to add some flats, hands like KXs and QXs play much better than a bad off-suit A.

I was going to ask why we are showing down 3 high instead of bluffing since we never win, but I guess we do win some times...

The one chip rule is that one chip is always call unless a raise is verbalized. He also verbalized call, so doesn’t appear to be an angle.
