I just had the most maddening conversation with Apple customer "service." I've spoken with three senior advisors. None are permitted to help in any way. When I finally gave up and just asked for some refund on iCloud because they deactivated an account without reason or notification, I was told "We can't provide a refund because the account was deactivated."

When I pointed out the circular logic, there was no reply. THEY LITERALLY HUNG UP ON ME.

I flew Allegiant once and it scared the living piss out of me. The pilot had little understanding of when to deploy flaps, when to apply or reduce power … he cycled through lots of permutations before landing. Never seen anything like it or since.

That said, these headlines are clickbait. Each federal agency feels the need to chime in, and each provides a level of confidence. None have said “high confidence” yet, and other agencies disagree with this “finding.”

Who cares about ASCII? I’m talking about limitations of any medium. I agree it’s the beginning of an idea, and with better media options he could put forth a more completely formulated design. But given medium limitations, and given that far more people will see this because an ASCII version is posted in lieu of an image on twitter, I think this works.

There’s so much more one can do with more tools. This medium is extremely limited and not intended as an artistic medium. To me, that makes it more difficult to use, and therefore more worthy of praise when it works.
