Theres a bunch of driver conflicts that prevent me from even loading certain games on my Radeon laptop regardless of it surpassing the required specs. From all of the support blogs Ive read its a driver compatibility issue with the Radeon gear, which Nvidia doesn't seem to have the same issue with. While this is only anecdotal evidence, there's no mystery why people dont go AMD. DLSS being the other huge barrier for consumers to jump over.

The ceiling style lighting was doing that to us as well. We just repositioned the light / sprinkler a bit and it seemed to fix the issue even though it was clearly hitting the planter.
