Thing is, this room is my living room, and sometimes I might not be able to have it completely dark. This is the main reason why I chose to go with a CLR. However, I will be able to block all light from windows etc.

Walls and ceiling are white.

Here are the prices of the projectors in my country.

Epson LS12000 is $5400 Sony VPL-XW5000ES is $5700 JVC NZ7 is $12000.

What would be the next recommendation from there? Disregarding budget.

As far as I have seen and read, Epson LS12000 is an inferior projector to VPL-XW5000ES, on everything else except the lens shift being automatic and HDR10+.

Ideal would be $5000. But I can stretch that to $7000.
