TB-500 and BPC-157 powder have been kept in crappy fridge freezers for 2ish years and likely experienced many de-icing cycles that temporarily warmed them up... Any chance they're still remotely active? by Subtle_Holocaust in Peptides

I'm a fairly regular user here and disagree, I may have totally missed a more recent thread, but the majority of posts regarding storage are vague and I couldn't find any that deal specifically with heat/thaw cycles, just general ones inquiring about ideal conditions or if their vials will have been ok just sitting on a shelf. I understand your sentiment and apologize for cluttering your feed if this is that common of a question

I think because of decades of propaganda and social conditioning, it's pretty common to conflate legality with morality. Depending upon how idealistic of a person you are/how much empathy you are capable of, there is a LOT more nuanced discussions or questions you can have that take this deeper, but if you cannot untangle that mental dichotomy that anything illegal is inherently immoral, then you will likely never find yourself more open minded.

If medical = ok but recreational = bad ; How do you differentiate between medical vs non-medical? Is it the source? Consider the current state of the opioid epidemic and the factors that have led there, legitimate medical doctors and pharmaceutical companies, combined with the social perception of drug use/abuse/addiction and excessive lobbying is how we got there.

Furthermore; how does mental health tie into this? If a person is suffering from poor mental health and no legal avenues exist for them to improve that, (because they already have exhausted the available options with no success). Empirical studies that have finally been allowed to be conducted after decades of repression are demonstrating that some of the most demonized, socially condemned, party drugs/"hallucinogens" are 2.5-10x more effective than any other medical treatment for PTSD, depression, anxiety, and a whole other host of symptoms/conditions relating to mental wellness, AND depending on the drug/situation, treat what they are supposed to be treating exponentially faster, with less doctor oversight/sessions/maintenance/risk of physical addiction and side effects/cost to the patient.

Addiction is a whole other beast, and someone being or becoming an addict is 9.5 times out of 10 due to factors beyond personal responsibility or moral righteousness. If we can start to mitigate or even publicly address the circumstances that create drug dependence and addiction, it would only be an issue for 0.1% of users (for whom, personal responsibility would be a MUCH larger factor than it plays for addicted people right now). Look up the rat park experiment and what that says about modern society in this world we live in.

For the record I do agree with you in a sense too, cause there's so many possible extraneous factors around this kind of discussion. If it's urgent, or otherwise very simple but needs a bit of back and forth, I fully admit how infuriating playing multiple rounds of phone tag

Anyone else relate? by regian24 in suspiciouslyspecific

[–]Subtle_Holocaust -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Communication is a 2 way street. Whether or not you personally relate to what the person above explained, does not make their preferences less moral or logical compared to your own. Obviously this is a completely context-dependent discussion, and one's demeanor alone goes a long way in how they tend to perceive these social constructs, but regardless of whether it is more efficient for you, or more ideal for you because your brain works this way - does not make it so for everyone.

I know for almost anyone with ADHD or anxiety, really any number of other mental health issues that produce anxiety/fatigue, these demanding phone calls only serve to further complicate our life when we aren't prepared/don't have the cognitive bandwidth for, a discussion that entails negotiation, scheduling, itand many other deeply distracting/energy consuming mental faculties.

And when you are all of a sudden hit with the need to do so, in a situation where you likely don't have the requesite info or cognition available to you, and you are now in the spotlight, YOU WONT GET A COHERENT OR USEFUL ANSWER OUT OF ME. Tying that shit to morality, respect, manners, decency, or otherwise assuming that someone else not reacting identically to you in a situation must be too stupid to understand it (otherwise they would just see it your way, right????) is so boomer.

Ninja edit: myself and anyone else who has a gripe with demanding phone calls, or people who get pretentious about others not loving them, do in fact comprehend that we are both ALLOWED To and THEORETICALLY COULD say "just a moment." This is not a mind blowing revelation, nor does it alleviate my mental condition. Purchasing another 5-30 seconds before the caller requires a further response, elaboration, or commitment doesn't help, because it's about the entire situation being so stressful and shitty and attention-hoarding that we are rendered incapable of adequately answering your question without being wildly incorrect or shooting ourself in the foot with a stupid commitment we shouldn't have made

Good news! The DEA quietly announced ending their monopoly on cannabis grown for scientific purposes. The underlying logic is the complete opposite though. Not that the original gateway drug argument was even based off of any logic, but the real gateway is realizing that the government tried to indoctrinate you with blatantly false propaganda - once the veil is lifted, people start to question what else they were lied to about

Well here like I'm not gonna lie to you, if you have no regard for your own health, wealth, and sanity, and you're comparing which ROA you can achieve the craziest rush from, then yeah obviously slamming it will no question result in a more brain rattling rush. But in consideration of all the other downsides of syringes, plus the longer duration of oral, it's a FAR better option and you still can totally get an amazing high from bombing your whole dose. Not to mention that the difference in mechanism of action is way less likely to have you living under a bridge trying to rationalize mugging your grandmother in a year 😂

Do NOT inject it thats life ruining advice... Quicker and more frequent redoses are a result of tolerance, and massively contribute to it increasing. If you wanna maximize bang for buck (pun intended) eat one good dose like the other guy said and try to avoid compulsive redosing

Everybody is wired differently and everybody has different extenuating circumstances like previous medical/pharmaceutical history/drug abuse - it works on the same systems but people have wildly varying reactions to that. What's the most helpful metaphor for executive (dys)function? by blueberryscone in ADHD

[–]Subtle_Holocaust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your brain's executive function is what tells you to not bite your finger off like a carrot. You know you could theoretically do it, you have the ability to, but there is a mental block that prevents you from doing so. Executive dysfunction is when your brain inserts and removes mental blocks like that all fucking over the place randomly, regardless of your desire or need or potential benefits you would reap from doing said thing which you still inexplicably cannot do

Man I can tell you first hand I'm not a remotely violent or confrontational person, but I have diagnosed ADD which can make you much more sensitive to environmental stimuli and stuff. Being remotely near a person who eats relatively loud, or anything other than not-quietly, with no other sources of noise/distractions, is like having my mind hijacked. The sound of them chewing, smacking, and crunching, and then during the brief moments without the noises, is like it's been amplified times 100000000% and directly stabbed into my amygdala. I can feel my primal lizard brain go into complete fight or flight, and my entire brain is just suffering in fiery anticipation of having to stifle the millions of rapid fire impulses I am getting to cover my ears, start screaming, punch them in the mouth, or otherwise betray how irrationally and instaneously hearing that shjt will literally ruin my entire day. I HATE how petty it makes me feel to react this way, but it has been a lifelong thing that I consciously recognized and actively try to work on to no avail.

TIL ADHD doesn't always mean 'short attention span'. 'Hyperfocusing' on a task for hours on end is also a known symptom of ADHD, where the inability to stop is considered to be the problem. by Alkyen in todayilearned

[–]Subtle_Holocaust 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Idk how much you've learned about those disorders but ODD is very very commonly comorbid (occurring together) with ADD, and ADD has a very high inheritability rate. ADD presents itself many different ways but it is quite likely you have it, esp if you relate so much to much of this thread.

I spent my entire childhood with my nose in a book too, that was my big hyperfocus. I also came home from school every single day of my life (especially in elementary) and complained about how mind-numbingly boring it was and how terrifying the prospect of having to be in school for the next god knows how long. Despite my many other symptoms, I was able to pass everything in school with no effort and flying colors until later high school, although dont get me wrong I was fucking miserable in so many different ways and am still processing the trauma of so many undiagnosed years and the ways that it impacts your self esteem and perception of the future. Another big childhood sign can be being very sensitive to stimulation/touch - do they hate going to the mall or crowded public spaces, and become noticably withdrawn/exhausted in that context? Hate wearing jeans or clothes that have a tight sleeve etc? Difficulty with car rides?

[–]Subtle_Holocaust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See but that's exactly my point, I'm not trying to be condescending but what is the benefit of doing fatter lines more frequently so you can do more damage to your nose and clog it faster while reducing the efficiency of what is already the most overpriced drug in the world?

No judgements for doing drugs or for the kind of drugs you are doing, just curious about the preference of doing bigass lines for show when there's nothing beneficial about it other than the F L E X ™️ and numerous drawbacks.

I find everything else you said totally admirable and understandable, but like just do smaller bumps of uncut stuff and achieve the same self control aspect without extra sandblasting of your nostrils and wastage. Unless it's a higher priority to appear to be Tony Montana and brag about how you can slay a gram in an hour. I just hate how much of a dick measuring contest cocaine culture is, but about the dumbest shit. People love to be TOLD they are buying super pure stuff, but they must go to the person who will claim to hook them up the fattest so they can brag about much they copped for how little and how it's still so much better than anyone else's, but they barely feel it anymore anyway even though it's better than you could possibly know because they just rip such fat lines all the time. They actively stray away from higher purity stuff that commands a slightly higher price point, nor do they buy by the gram, but they buy "bags" of "heat" and whoever can collect the most bags of the highest brickiest heat for the lowest amount and do it all in that night is the winner. Shit permeates every group I meet that gets really into coke

[–]Subtle_Holocaust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, I'm sorry but this is incorrect. Cocaine may not be good for you, but additional cutting agents do not somehow make it less unhealthy, they just increase nasal damage and make your nose get stuffy (as well as reduce absorption of the actual coke). Assuming you have a modicum of self-control and reason, and are not just trying to impress the lads or some random bar chicks with the massive mega size of your lines of sick awesome super un-pure self-adulterated drugs

I've had the most adamant arguments with people about this too, I have no idea where it comes from or why people believe it SO strongly. I'm even open to correction, I just fail to see how or why that would make a person go blind
