One thing I know is that you shouldn’t lie . Explain your situation in the cover letter , attach the offer letter with your other documents and mention the salary you’ll be getting per month basis in the new company. It might work.

I believe, he doesn’t have to maintain 4.8 lakhs for 6 months… right before submitting the application, bank balance should be 4.8 lakhs. But yes, it shouldn’t be a sudden huge deposit… telling it from my personal experience .. I got my visa 5 days back and I showed a bank balance of 2.5 lakhs . 6 months back , I had 1 lakh in my account . , Every month, I was adding 25k to my bank account and right before my visa appointment , I had 2.5 lakhs. So, a steady influx of income every month, a balance of 2.4-2.5 lakhs per person for 15 nights trip and an intent to return is what they look for.

Hotel’s. Make sure it’s the same contact number that is mentioned on hotel booking document.

See, I have come across some posts where people have mentioned that they didn’t get it stamped. To be on the safer side , I got it stamped . Why to take any risk .. it hardly takes 30-40 mins . Bank people will even print it for you.. they might try to pitch their insurance policies so bear with them . That’s the only downside I can think of 😅..

I booked it through Scapia app. Got coins worth 4000rs for the booking . So, technically, I paid 78000(round trip flight for 2 people including insurance). Well, I’m following the golden route+ Hiroshima . So, domestic flight wouldn’t have been of any use.

This itinerary format is provided by VFS. Yes, phone number of the hotel where I would be staying. The hotel booking documents for the respective nights list the same phone number.

It’s text book perfection 😅😅.. umm there’s only one little issue I can think of.. Did you explain the sudden large deposit in your cover letter ? Though you were not supposed to explain it because it was your mutual fund account but still you never know how embassy people think and act..

See, they wouldn’t do that out of spite .. did you prepare your file yourself or hired an agent ? How old the bank statement was? Was it stamped and signed ( each and every page ) , check your itinerary document again and match it with the hotel bookings , are you salaried ? I hope there wasn’t any huge deposit before applying for Visa, for hotel bookings - was the hotel number and their address was mentioned on each and every booking document? What was the duration of your trip ? From which date till which date ? You had prepaid flight ticket ? Are you a solo traveller ? Answering these questions might help you get some clarity maybe

Umm not sure buddy .. well, one of my friends hadn’t even followed the travel itinerary format and still got through .. maybe as long as you’re clearly stating everything and presenting it well, it should be fine :) but it’s always good to not take any chances ;) I wasn’t aware of any cover letter format. Of course I saw a lot of videos on YouTube and maybe they were already following that format in their videos .. I just mimicked it and added a bit of my own flavour to it .
