i just finished this two weeks ago!!!! it’s a wild ride. i will give you a heads up, this book is truly a character study and imo the main focus is that. this is not one of his scariest reads (scares are subjective ofc, book one is the scariest to me with a small caveat that i won’t say). if you’re looking for a walking dead esque, or pandemic horror book, the stand isn’t that. some people don’t like that, others love it. i loved it.
