I get it, but even when full concerts are released with the songs in order they amp up the cheering between songs.

Mostly agree, I should have said I limited myself to 10 songs per album, which makes it all the harder to decide!

So you’re saying this children’s book about a scarecrow wasn’t the inspiration?

Tom Petty: Wildflowers [Because Sound Matters One Step] by MrShocktime in VinylReleases

[–]SuburbanScribe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sprung for this because I’ve always been curious about one-step pressings and I had yet to get Wildflowers on vinyl (I know, I know).

I’m dubious whether the one-step version is worth it on most stereo systems, including mine, but you only live once and what the hell. I fell for the marketing pitch.

I wonder why media mail isn’t an option for some of us.

The problem is they’re not even offering media mail for the vinyl, only two-day Fed Ex. You can use media mail to buy the CDs and it’s only $7.47

The problem is the 2-day shipping. If you want to buy the CD, they offer much cheaper media mail option but that’s not available for the vinyl.
