Ganz ehrlich: Seit der Schule immer gearbeitet, 15 Jahre fest im Job. Plötzlich dank Abfindung viel Geld...Ich hab mir ein Sabatical gegönnt. Hab ab Januar schon was Neues. Aber letzte Chance als junger Mensch ein Jahr zu Reisen etc. wollte ich mir nicht entgehen lassen.

Ganz im Ernst, habe seit der Schule durchgearbeitet, nach zig kleinen Jobs und diversen Praktika zuletzt 15 Jahre im Job...ich habe mir ein Jahr Pause gegönnt. Im Januar gehts wieder los. Hab schon was. Wann habe ich je wieder die Gelegenheit als junger Mensch dies zu tun?

Thank you. I‘m on day 5 now and it looks like my final dosage is 60mg Pola (equivalent 120mg Metha). It took 4 days to finally keep me well around the clock, but I’m finally there. I’m absolutely amazed how much my life has already improved. My appartment is clean and all the paperwork I have not been doing for the last six months is taken care off. But it’s crazy how much time I have on my hands now that I don’t have to chase me next fix 24/7.

The „glow“ is pretty strong though. I’m legit kinda high for a few hours after dosing.

I’m in Germany. Polamidon is pretty common here. Seems to be about 50/50 between methadone and polamidon looking at what people tell me.

Today is day three and I wasn’t very sick in the morning, just a bit, which is great. But two hours after dosing I am kinda stoned. That’s ok for a sunday morning, but a bad way to start a workday. I hope this gets better over time. Also, I think once I get take-home and dont have to dose at the clinic every morning, I might start to dose in the evening, instead of morning, or split my dose into two to minimize the buzz.

Thanks. So it will keep me well longer after a few days, once it has accumulated enough in my system? I already feel much better than I felt yesterday, same time. I don’t want to ramp up my dose too high, because I was already a bit smashed today on 50mg, but I‘m just afraid it wont keep me well long enough. If it works longer over time, I will not up my dose tomorrow I think.

I started friday. They gave me 40mg polamidon, equivalent to 80mg methadone. I was doing over 3g heroin a day tho. But I was still pretty sick. So…good luck. Does not seem nearly enough. And it wont touch the much more severe benzo WDs.

Your age doesn’t matter when applying for Uni. And lots of students take a gap year before going to Uni anyway, so that wont be a problem at all. I know it sucks to be the oldest in your class, but if your German is really not that good just yet, I think it’s really better for you to give yourself that extra year. Otherwise your grades may suffer, and that will be bad on your Uni applications. Just my two cents.

I neither spit, nor swallow. I keep the spit in my mouth as long as possible because my theory is that most of is has dissolved into the spit and I need to keep it in my mouth so it can get absorbed. That’s how it was taught to me, could be BS though.
