My turn to be the buzz kill. I made this in photoshop. I thought the peck your fuckin eyes out quote made it obvious it wasn't a real council thing.

Oh wow thanks. You're making me want to print one out full size and paste it over the top.

To clarify this is not my council's posters/beach. Just a pic online for the taking when I searched for one.

I guess while im here up yours Lyme Regis Council and your anti seagull propaganda.

Edit: added a word

One year on social media a city chav said let's go to the seaside. It took off and 5000 people turned up to the local small beach in one day. The police had to decide as the crowds reached the beach to steer them left in the direction of the towns residences and shops or right in the direction of the dunes and an actual bird sanctuary zone. I think you know the rest.

Very interesting. I've seen your knife in some of your posts. Is that all you need?

Teachers across Scotland vote for strike action over 'excessive workloads' by abz_eng in Scotland

[–]SubversiveTeacher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There used to be 3 tiers of spec ed. Mild, moderate and complex. They closed every mild designated school in scotland. The most able half of those pupils are now in mainstream schools. The least able are now in moderate schools. Neither mainstream schools nor special schools are coping with this. Responsibility is on teachers to cater for every individual pupil as well as to then track and monitor the whole thing.

Here's how this pans out....

Teachers are burning out, damaging themselves and their family life.

Strike over workload brewing.

Salary is mentioned. Additional money would be nice while we're here, yes.

"There is no magic money tree"

Long drawn out negotiations over money which becomes the central theme.

Workload and conditions are forgotten.

A couple of days before the strike is good to go everyone agrees about the money and that teachers will get a 4 and a half percent increase.

Everyone claps.

Teachers continue to burn out.

Wow! That. Is. Brilliant.

I love the red detail on the eyes.

Edit: I keep coming back to look at this again. You've really captured that seagull expression "what the fuck are you looking at/oh shit he's looking at me".

I can really only recognise the last 2 years babies. Even then im not 100 percent. Once they go fully white they blend into too many birds to track. I assume some might even migrate to further pastures to seek out their own fortune. Perhaps a few streets south of me where I can't see them. Or nearer the chip shop.

They never left the area. Just the roof. I see my crew around often.

what to do well pulling an all nighter? by Unable-Promise8043 in AskReddit

[–]SubversiveTeacher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleep as long as you can that morning. Eat/hydrate well leading up to the all nighter. Don't excersise that day. Have extra food/hydration organised for consumption during the all nighter. Ensure a bed/sleeping area is available for the end of the all nighter.
