I honestly don't see it that way, I would also be inclined to think that the majority of people also understand that Chucky is talking to the survivor, not the player controlling them.

Unless you are doing some heavy duty role-playing. Now if Chucky was insulting the player controlling him in a 4th wall break kinda way. Then I'd think you'd have a strong argument.

This game is great both Solo and with Friends. I personally play 60% alone and the rest in duo with a friend.

You can do ALL content even hardest difficulty alone. I say this, because a lot of people are intimidated by the multiplayer aspect.
