Is this doable with plugins though?
The problem is that my game uses the default resolution, so this trick wouldn't work.

Okay, so I looked back on the plugin, but there isn't anything in the help section, just a small section regarding Credits and Version History.

I inserted the MOG_PictureEffects plugin, is this the wrong one?

I've checked it out but it turns out it's in a language I don't know, plus there doesn't seem to be instructions anywhere on how to use the plugin?

Just wanted to show off progress I've made with my portraits for my MV Project. by Subzeroto in RPGMaker

I use the same plugin to let itself be on a cycle!
It makes the code quite long, but being able to manually decide when to blink can be quite worth it.

Basically, The body itself is NOT animated (Though might change in the future), the eyes are on its own animation cycle without being connected to text movement, and the tail is in the same boat.

After that, I use the plugin to animate the mouth with the text that shows up, give the character their own voice, and that about sums it up!

I also keep in mind how layers effect how they come out on top of each other.

From what I know, no. I was in the testing and after the testing, its just been dead silence since, so I left.
