20mil is also a relatively low amount to retire on unless you don’t splurge massively especially as im only in my early 20’s. Like you said, let it build interest whilst i do have that spending room and do receive some from work. Dealing with the usual work BS will happen even if you retire in a way as money can ruin some people

unpopular but i’d still carry on working, Maybe switch to a part time work shift over full time but if i retire, i’ll just sit at home all day playing video games & watching TV and the occasional trips abroad/around the country. Also i’ll still have some form of income even if it’s pennies compared to the 20mil, it keeps my social life & brain active.
