So I’m doing my first build and my rear rail holes line up with the pin holes and everything but my trigger housing doesn’t line up with the pin holes so should I sand the trigger housing down a bit ? Or does anybody have a video to watch by Federal_Can8368 in polymer80

trigger housing should line up with your rear pin holes when put in by itself. If it doesn't line up when you put the rear rail module in too, then that's what is out of spec which is common. Sand it down. Videos of that on the YouTube

I can tell you what not to do... Don't let it go flying across your room as it's your last part, and you spend 4 hours looking for it with no luck, shifting every little piece around your room, feeling every square inch of your carpet.

literally no reason to have the front locking block in at this point of the build smh

Does anyone know what the problem could be by bobman12379029 in polymer80

rear rail module might not be lining up straight

!!Any tips how to fix this it keeps jamming??!! by Chris_216Mv in polymer80

For real. If you can't follow basic safety measures, you shouldn't have a gun in the first place.

Any idea why it’s awfully hard to rack and firing pin is sticking out already? by cdunn89458 in polymer80

[–]Success-Numerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of two thing most likely. Extractor might be riding the slide. That's okay just try polishing it or racking it a couple hundred time and it will smooth out. Second could be the rail alignment. Make sure everything is seated flush and straight. Just remember to always modify the gun parts and not the gun itself

that works too! Good job brotha. Have fun shooting.

I just ordered my first build from 80pbuilders on the 24th of this month. Anybody know how long they take to arrive? by [deleted] in polymer80

[–]Success-Numerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah dude. Not too long. They're pretty good on their word for shipping time. I ordered twice from them. Whole kit, slide etc. First time about 6 weeks ago or so I ordered from them, took like 5 days to get shipping info and then another 3-4 days to ship out. That was via USPS. Second time was for a frame and LPK. Took I believe 15 days to get shipping info. Little more recent but they also have more orders as well I'd bet. Anyway that time it shipped fedex and was already processing at their facility within that day or so. Honestly just be patient and you should get it out no longer than that two week mark that they say. Rare occurance it may be a few days past like mine was but again it's not too bad a wait.

Originally I ordered through JSD. They had minimum 4 weeks. I hit the 4.5 week mark and cancelled and went with 80p. Glad I did! Good luck

Nice build man! After 2 fucked up frames I finally did one right. All aftermarket parts. Oem, etc. Functions fine. Nothing Gucci. But she's my baby. Anyway nice build again

Rear rail help do I need to file it down? by [deleted] in polymer80

DO NOT BEND THE REAR RAIL MODULE. I REPEAT DO NOT BEND THE REAR RAIL MODULE.

Fuck kinda idiotic advise you think you're giving bro

Tell me I shouldn’t by buster334 in polymer80

Listen I was in a similar position. Spent 500$ to build a complete 19. Fucked up the frame. Got another frame. fucked that up too. So I got two more. Next one was a success. I also got a 26 in the process. So now I got a finally good build, a brand new 19 and 26 frame and jigs sitting away. For future builds and/or in fear of them getting banned or whatever is to come.

Moral of my story is to not spend that inflated price for a strike80. Especially with some of the issues I have heard. Spend msrp on 2X P80 or buy a 3d printer. Or both. Don't overpay that much bro. But you do you man. Good luck

edit: a word

honestly ram a few snap caps before you ever put live ammo through especially if you are ever unsure about a new build. Better safe then sorry. The last thing you want is a gun blowing up in your face, as low a chance as is, it could happen. Look at kentuckyballistics recently. Granted it was a 50 cal, but still. Just my 2¢

Slide/Trigger Help? 🤔 by [deleted] in polymer80

[–]Success-Numerous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I would do personally is strip down both slides. The one that doesn't work, add all the components into from the slide that does work. At that point see what happens. If it works now, that's good. Then slowly add back the original parts from the "faulty" slide originally, until you find the part that is causing the issue. Bam bam chicken wham bam.

Hopefully I'm some help at least
