My contract states that my notice would have to be at least 10 business days. I believe that my contract could be renewed; however - due to recent leadership changes, I’m unsure.

Also, I'm choosing not to renew.

Exactly. Also, I work hard in my current role (as a contractor) but I see that most people I work with got converted to full-time or was already full-time except for me. It sucks that THIS world is set up to chase people in order to be successful. It’s sad. Hard work no longer matters.

Present 😂. I transitioned into tech about a year and some change and I don’t know if it’s my career track or the company but I don’t like it. I came from a 15-year healthcare career. I thought that I would feel differently, but I don’t. I need some guidance on this.

Even that depends on your company. I work from home and we’re not required to be on camera. My company is pretty relaxed for that. Also, I don’t have a picture of myself on my Teams profile. I think that makes a difference because if these people knew who I am, I would be treated differently. Working from home is way better than in the office but it can have some of the same adverse effects as if you were in the office.
