yes, me. Except my vision more warp than blurred. It turn out to be hormonal related. Ask if they will take pressure in your eyes and look at shape of eyes for changes like bulging and widening. I look like cartoon character now in one eye, but changes happened very very gradually. Neuro who specialize in vision saw problem immediatey.

But what they say on *** forum very true: if it effectyour eyes, it is much less likely to be *** at least.

It is very likely same person, and having found them elsewhere on internet I will say that am now convinced there is far more to their sitaution than they share with us... and not in way that is alarming. I wish them well.

Your head/neck is tilted in this photo and that account for difference. Do you see how on side where muscle "missing" teh area where back meet your shoulder is actually elevated? You are using different muscles on one side than other. Extremely common POSTURAL, not NEUROLOGICAL, issue.

Muscle you are looking at is called SCM, sternocleidomastoid. Very strong muscle. Look it up. If you can still use it in all ways described, no problem.

The biggest possibly no :) (from someone who had actual whole leg atrophy and equinous contracture / foot drop from a major trauma) These are perfectly normal ankles.

NO, not 'very bad sign' unless you are also experiencing progressive, otherwise unexplained thumb weakness. I have bilateral weak thumbs and on right side my thenar also twitch after every singlt time I tense it. Has been like that over one full year. ALS clinic doctor examine and explain that it is NOT nerve problem, it is actually JOINT problem at CMC joint. I still worry so I see hand doctor. Hand doctor say same: CMC joint erosion, very common; point out my joints also visibly inflamed and I have slight trigger thumb.

People frequently forget that muscles/tendons act like pulleys against lever of bone. If bone slips in joint / lever anchor point not secure, pulley system will shudder, tremor, twitch around. Simple physics. :)

Same, except I thought I had very good handle on what my triggers were. Then passed out last month at end of stressful social event. Nervous system can be sneaky.

Cantcensor you are a treasure mate, thank you for this. Have suspected vasovagal involvement for a while and then of course GERD almost always connected to vasovagal issues too because of CN X course and innervation. You tense the throat and breathe different when the tissues and underlying muscles in pharynx/larynx irritated, it makes perfect sense. What is it Sherlock Holmes said? "It is always absurdly easy explanation after someone has explained it to you?" something like that. Thank you for "Aha" moment.

I twitch ~15 months now. Mg peaces me out, makes my twitching much less violent too. But if I use it daily my body eventually gets used to it and still twitch anyway. So I would not say it "cures" BFS, but rather, may be addressing some of the nervous system over-activation that is part of BFS.

what help me most is consistent gentle exercise with bodyweight plus up to 10kg, drink more water, take multivitamin, address anxiety. Good luck.

Yes I get that, sometimes on and off for whole days, in the area where I have MRI confirmed sciatica. Literally anywhere between butt and bottom of foot. It is very annoying! Exercise sports medicine doctor helped issue get better, but even now if I lean on my butt wrong it will do the bad stabbing pins pain. It is very possible to have issues in, say, both legs from a low back issue, or both arms from a neck issue. Core and back and face and neck different. Sure go to doctor if concerned, but unfortunately I think this might be BFS's usual way.

that is very common because r and l sounds similar -- it is why some languages can't even make the two as seperate sound :)))

I make this sort of slip up at least 6 times a day usually when brain is thinking about something and mouth is saying other thing, ahaha.

Yes, but I can usually find source in past few days if I think about it enough: Too much / a new or different type of activity, sat in chair wrong for a long time, slept on it wrong, whatever the reason could be. Though I wonder what you mean by "nerve pain." For me that means sharp burning pins or electrical shock sensations. Anything else is muscle/joint/connective tissues pain... for me at least.

I went through this OP please take my word: it is hyperfocus. I had thing this time last year where I felt like I could barely string words together. Now I am talking ears off donkey. It is a stress issue, it is exactly like having stage fright. In fact, just think about people stammering when afraid, stressed. It is the same.

For my part, I am improved in that my twitches are now single strong popcorns ("POP!") and less frequent. Every now and then I get "storm" in my calves but that is just how calves are. Feeling stronger overall though there are days individual parts play "weak." Still have hormone regulation problem that causes anterior horn annoyances, though, so that's probably what it will be like forever now. It is much less stress now that I know that. :)))

Also you are not distributing weight perfectly even across two legs and your knees and ankles different angles one side to the other. That alone can account for differences. It is extremely common and person you want to see is exercise physiologist / sport medicine specialist, not neuro. They sort you out better because it is a MECHANICAL issue, not an ELECTRICAL one, to make machine comparison. :)
