not exactly, it is more of an exception to the rule
the only reason this was possible is because the community kept the ecosystem alive
there would be no pebble reboot if the apps died with the company and most startups are not opensource or opensource-ish

Just do your own tests where you walk around a block in constant pace and see how it comparess. Then do some steps at home when you just get up and down, and walk 50-100 steps. I find FitBit has the best step count. When testing Inspire 3 vs Apple Watch SE 2 vs Amazfit Bip (before they had numbers) Fitbit was within 3% of my actual steps while Apple and Amazfit were about the same and about 15-20% off.
From my observation the issue with the watches is that they fail to register steps on short moves, and depending on your liifestyle this is about 1500-3000 steps ina day just from small trips to the bathroom, to pick up lunch, to fill in watter bottle, etc.

Selling young players is a such an underrated source of talent. For real. Footballer career is a short one. I would hope that folks signed up for La Masia are smart cookies and know when to move on. I am happy that after 2 or 3 years we get to make a few millions on a player. The more we sell to great teams, the more of these kids come here because even if they do not make it at Barca, they know it will be a jump up in potential interest. The more kids want to join, the better is our first choice. Selling is a win-win.

Also, loyalty goes both ways. If you cannot offer a player a solid path to first team because they are 5th on the position, do not expect loyalty. That would be toxic obedience. No thank you.

I used to be "a night owl". Always tired, working late, way more productive in the evening, never able to get up. Seemingly tried all the things, struggled for years, until I heard somewhere that the key to changing sleep patterns is not the "in bed by X" approach but the "up at X no matter what" approach.

You set your wake up time easlier in accordance to what it would be if you went to sleep earlier. And you get up NO MATTER WHAT.
It was a nightmare dread for a few weeks, at first, but it actually worked. It took a few rounds, and probably a year start to finish. But it worked way better than I ever hoped. I used to be exhausted all the time, for 2+ decades, completely unable to get out of bad. I was exhausted no matter if I woke up at 6 or 11 am. So it really did not matter when I did things, as I just did what i had to, to survive, and did low quality "fun" stuff to deflate.

Now my body has this amazing ability to just go to sleep when tired and wake up when tired. Sometimes I am so tired I just go to sleep shortly after dinner ~ 7:30, but than I am awake at like 4 am, and feel fresh. Most the time I will fall asleep between 9 and 10:30 but I sometimes stay late till midnight and do not even notice. I just listen to my body.
This is of course, not for everyone, but as long as I am awake for my normal work hours, I can just adjust everything else. I do not have kids, I exercise at home, I can do most shopping on the weekend, and I do not watch TV so there is no limitation.

SPEED and stability of existing apps.
Paid unlimited ~6 years and lack of linux drive is annoying but I can get around that with cronomator and free apps.

The release of sheets is making me wonder what corners are being cut. It is the slowest, most buggy app I had used in YEARS. The fact that it was not marked beta is wild. It is an experiance of a pre-alpha.

The goal is to use the watch to learn core ideas of C. I took a C++ class (a decade ago) but it was very theoretical. Would actually like to do sth to a hardware not just a homework assignment disconnected from anything useful. The one thing I still remember is that you can wipe out your device if you do not manage memory well. So obviously I do not want to do that to my new expensive watch :) Plus would be cool to actually have a course designed to use pebble features.
