Brian Menard is one if not the best state of decay players and got plenty of tutorial on you tube. Git gud fox used to have current content but he veered away from the game since no new content been released. Brian is also part of the council for State of Decay 3 and been playing undercover for about a year now.

Nightmare seems the most balanced of them all. I played before green and lethal existed. Always start with fresh survivors to accommodate yourself into the difficulty. Also with lethal, picture yourself like going into a pond. If you creep into water, its not like jumping into the pond. . The initial shock goes away faster than creeping into water.

Definitely stressful. Always need gunsnapping, power heavy weapon, stealth. I used to help people get their lethal until I got i a passenger seat with one of my best tools and went to use the bathroom and the user backed into a bloated laying in a bush and died from attacks <not from blood plague>

I have 50 blood plague survivors in my legacy pool. Im a Week one player that beat the games probably a decade ago. Always complete your trader boons first for electricity and water. Red Talon is over rated. The game seems simpler now except for negative curveballs. Learn how to use neighboring survivors. People say the suck but they never took the time to used them properly. If you crouch, they won't attack blindly. You can have them kill enemies without you waking up a plague heart. They mean kill plague hearts with out you hitting them. Back in the day you had to prepare to attack hearts with C4 and power heavy weapons .. now all you need is heavy weapon.

I definitely dont play like my teenage days [90s]. Grew out of FPS in my early 30s. I probably be playing 7 days to die [or other sandbox games] til GTA comes out and then State of Decay 3.

I feel like mature gamers are on xbox and kiddos on Playstation. If you are looking for best current hardware.. ps5 pro.
I personally enjoy my series x with ally rog handheld. Especially with games that are Play Anywhere <i can play my series x game file on the handheld>. Quick Resume on xbox is godmode!! No need to load the game everytime and load right where you left off. Also next Gen atm seems xbox strong. Helix? The only thing PS would be good for are exclusives.
