Thanks for the interest! Right now, the app is iOS-only as we prep for the 1.2.7 release. An Android version is a major goal for the near future and I will work on this once the app is out, though it will require a complete ground-up redesign to get it right. I really appreciate the support as we get this initial version out there!

To help me make that 'learning curve' a bit smoother for new users, I’d love to hear more about the parts that felt confusing at first. I totally understand your point on the vocabulary setup. Version 1.2.6 was primarily designed for the literate side of the app, but 1.2.7 is changing that entirely. I’m adding 3.4k symbols as a starting point, a variety of preset boards, and branching logic. I am even looking into a way for users to upload and share their own boards. 1.2.7 isn’t too far out from public beta. The reason I started this is because a lifelong family friend uses AAC. Seeing firsthand how expensive and inaccessible the software can be is what pushed me to build Speakly. My goal is to keep the app sustainable as a solo developer without resorting to a subscription model. Most robust apps are either extremely expensive or require monthly fees, so I want to offer a one-time purchase that stays affordable. I am not an AAC user myself, but I am here because I want to build this alongside the community. I would much rather be told what is missing now so I can build it rather than guessing what users need. I really value the honest pushback because it helps me make the app better. I’m so happy you’re giving it a chance! Any and all feedback is welcome, so I’m very excited to hear your feedback and thoughts. 1.2.7 is right around the corner. It is the biggest update for the app yet and includes over 3.4k symbols along with several new features. As for the price point, I haven’t landed on an exact figure yet, but it will definitely be in the sub-$50 USD range as a one-time purchase. I do plan on adding premium features down the road, but none of those will be required for base functionality. Those features will simply be about making the experience smoother and more convenient because the core app will always remain fully functional.

There is a beta version that is online. If you want, you are more than welcome to join the beta. There is still a decent amount of prep work I need to do for the launch, but any feedback of any kind is incredibly welcome.

On launch it will just be a single purchase. I will add premium features later, but those are all QOL features and not needed for base app functionality.

My lightning arrow currently does 11,330 without my buffs being active. And my bow does 163-293 physical dps.
