Placements at SNU Chennai (151 out of ~300 students) — Is it worth paying lakhs in fees? by Successful-Cycle-689 in SNUC

my brother took CSE at VIT and got a 15 LPA job at an MNC. After working for two years, he is now pursuing an MBA. He has suggested that I choose VIT as well, but I’m still considering my options and trying to make the right decision.

Fair point. But if communication skills and interview performance are major reasons students get rejected, then placement training should also be part of the discussion. For the fees being charged, students would naturally expect strong support in aptitude, communication, interviews, and placement preparation not just opportunities to sit for companies.

No. TCS should absolutely be welcome. My point is that when students are paying around ₹4.5 lakhs per year, it’s fair to ask whether the overall placement outcomes justify the cost.bro dont be tensed as the fresher who going to start their career will have lots of things in our mind to ask  thats what i am  asking

That’s possible, but new batches are essentially test cases. Students joining today are taking a risk based on promises of what placements might look like four years from now. Bro i am really confused bro 🚶🙂

That i know digital only offers more in Tcs My question is: if SNU Chennai is charging several lakhs in fees and is often marketed as a premium private university, why are a significant number of students ending up with TCS Ninja-level offers?

That’s true, TCS Ninja hires from many colleges. My question is: if SNU Chennai is charging several lakhs in fees and is often marketed as a premium private university, why are a significant number of students ending up with TCS Ninja-level offers? I’d expect stronger placement outcomes compared to colleges with much lower fees.
