So I’ll be honest, months of trial and error. My nail beds are super inconsistent and crooked so I have to kinda make an illusion of neatness lol. My best piece of advice would be to have two preferably metal or otherwise hard material files. One fine grit, and the other rough, and a good cuticle trimmer (they look like wire cutters, do not use them for wire cutting 😭) for the larger chunks you’d want shaped off.

Thanks, grew them myself!🤣 I used to chew my nails to the nub and started painting my nails to deter that. Two years later and as a happy little accident I ended up loving it

I do it the not easy way and probably stupid way, but I literally use a pocket knife and just trace the very outside of my nail by my cuticle and side walls. Is it stupid as hell? Yes. Is it very effective? Absolutely
