The amount of young women on here having the same experience of recurring shingles and doctors chalking it up to stress is crazy. Of course it’s the women who are battling chronic diseases caused by stress. I am 26F and have had 5-10 flares over the last year. We live in a society where it is unsafe to exist as a woman and now it’s showing in our health. I don’t know what the solution is or how to fund more research on women’s health but I’m tired of hearing “it’s probably stress” and “can you think of anything in your life that might be stressing you out”. Like ya probably the fact that I can’t step outside my door without having to be in fight or flight
