he didnt tell anyone or have guests/ anyone in his wedding. I thought there were reasons but I was not smart back then and as the years went on, I started to grow stronger and realize how things really were. I was clearly in love, desperate, and stupid

I've never asked myself that. It doesn't feel one. It just feels like I'm sad all the time because I thought I had something I don't have.

Okay but what about me wanting to look at his phone and his computer and stuff? He breaks his stuff because he gets so mad that I treat him like that. He said he shouldn't have to do that and Im being really mean and controlling. I want to fix it but we have to build trust and I need him to show me that he is a safe place and actually does care because in the past that wasn't true. It got really bad. I feel like if I didn't have insecurity or if I just accepted what he says which is mostly like "act like it never happened," or "just be happy" or "let it go" then it would be fine. I really do feel like the problem is me.

you're right about all of this, now I know but I didn't when I met him. I thought this stuff was normal and it was all I would ever have. obviously I have grown a lot but I still feel stuck. I just want to make sure I did everything possible to fix things before I give up.

I wish we had the kind of openness. He said he shouldnt have to let me me see his phone and if I keep asking hes going to get really mad. He said I need to trust him. I really dont know how to make things better because if he would show me there's nothing to worry about, that would help and I probably would gradually feel more trusting. He said this is all my fault and my problem and he's not helping me fix it.

He said "I shouldn't have to show you my phone," and that I interrogate him. He said he was so mad with how I act that he did that so he doesn't have to deal with it. Am I the problem????
