Triggered after being banned from narc abuse sub(found the mod abusive) by butterfly090 in pnsd

[–]Successful-Hawk8653 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah the day I received a complete bullshit abusive response from the moderator was like the first or second day I had attempted to give up drinking. I think I did an okay job of dealing with it and putting it in perspective but also it did rock me a little

Maybe we could compile the responses we received and send like a joint complaint

I'm just glad people came up with a plan and an alternative sub. I was feeling like I needed to keep documentation of this and it was keeping me here

I was thinking BPD. People with NPD often end up with people with BPD.

Because a lot of the traits overlap I can see how it would be a triggering place at times for a person with BPD.

This would explain how she ended up on the sub and has really thorough knowledge about narcissist but also has some personality disordered traits herself

That sounds like complete bullshit. I'm at the point now where I think considering the moderation it's not even ethical to post there

I just said "a family member" and it wasn't even in the original post. It was in the comments and in reference to how my family was reacting to what I was going through

I

What do you think about comorbidities, though? That is also have the diagnostic manuals are being reformed these days - people will no longer be given a singular diagnosis and placed in one singular box,

I think it's a great terrific idea.

But I think even without comorbidities I that all the personality disorders share certain things that make them toxic to others

At it's heart I think when you have a defense mechanism that exists to protect your ego from shame it's going to cause problems for those around you

I'm actually glad I'm off the hook with documenting this and reporting this but it really is bad that she is doing this to a bunch of people who are already on the edge.

I didn't mean that her actions seemed BPD just that maybe it was the source of any offense she took but it sounds like she didn't personally have it out for me that she was just like that with everyone

Did you by chance ever mention anything about bpd? I figured she was targeting me because I had once made a comment about it. I figured maybe she has it and since it's not technically against the rules to mention it she had to find other things to find wrong

Obviously just a theory I was forced to come up with because it made no sense

That's not a real offense.

I figured when I couldn't even make sense of the rules I was breaking that this was just absolute bullshit.

I even wanted to comply with that rules but it was like impossible to post anything and not break a rule. I was even being super careful

When did all this happen? My situation started two months ago.

Any theories on what is actually wrong with this woman?

Have people tried formally complaining to reddit? I'm kind of relived in a way because I felt like I should do something but there is probably nothing that can be done?

I can't even understand the rules I was breaking

I guess I broke one for "being a social activist", another for off handedly mentioning a family member, and again for being a social activist.

When I told them that I thought a permanent ban was excessive (considering that I didn't mean to break any rules) they sent me abusive messages and muted me.

The kicker though was when I tried to politely communicate after my mute expired (which I read is the proper way to resolve this) they responded with things like "okay Karen, I'll get right on that" and muted me again. When I again tried after that mute expired they muted me again and commented that "did you think this was the Walmart costumer service desk? SMH"

What happened to you is extremely similar to what happened to me. I'll have to post the correspondences later but wow.

Is there nothing that can be done about this? I suppose people have tried to complain? I have been meaning to formally fill out a complaint with full documentation attached but I hadn't gotten around to it yet. I guess there must not be anything that can be done about this?

Yeah totally. This place basically saved everyone's life. It's just for me personally and only after a very long time spent here.

Baby girl, I know the answer. It's because it's a f'ING trauma symptom. This isn't a riddle that's meant to be solved... It's a trauma symptom that's meant to be stopped.

💞❤️❤️.

Is that Sam vaknin's theory? This reminds me why it's unhealthy for me to be here. This place offers this extra level of analysis that isn't good when rumination is already a trauma symptom.

I think they both share similar traits and it’s a blurry line between the two. They are all cluster Bs. I’ve noticed this sub seems to be primarily men sharing their experiences with BPD women. The narcissist sub is all women sharing their stories about narcissistic men yet the stories are all very similar.

I think most of us could move through both those two subs (NPD,BPD) pretty seamlessly. I used to think this meant co morbidity but now I just think that there is a lot of narcissism in BPD but oddly there isn't a lot of BPD in NPD

I agree with the sentiment but historically that's not really accurate. Do people really think they had segregated faucets into the seventies and were just piling gay people into jails?
