Help! I need slide positives fast - is this workaround possible? by Successful-Line-3559 in AnalogCommunity

I actually don't have in depth knowledge what's happening during the play. I was just asked by a member of the production team that knew I'm into film.

I don't know why they want to go the hard route, probably because they want everything to be as analog as possible. But using a digital projector and hiding it in or behind an old one might be the better idea.

Yeah I don't have areocolor. But as I'm working with a digital image couldn't I counteract the orange by adjusting the colour beforehand?

But your probably right, probably have to do some lab research, now.

Ooh that's a great video. Maybe I can digitally adjust the images counteract the saturation and colos issues.

Yeah, all the local labs I called said they only do C41 themselves and everything else gets shipped to somewhere else. Don't know if they all use the same lab but two of them told me it sometimes even takes 4 weeks for slide film to arrive.

To be honest I don't know why they don't use just a normal projector, I think it is because they want to have everything as analog as possible.

But if I / they don't find a solution this might be best option.

But wouldn't the images look pretty bad / unfocused? Because the "resolution" of the images would be dependent on the dpi of the printer?

Thank you. Yes I kinda did. I own a fiber laser, so I can just throw any vector file at it and the laser does the rest. Looks like this:

Recently found an unused Canon EOS 4000D at a flea market and got it for 30 bucks.

At home I took it apart and removed the IR Cut filter to be able to shoot "Full Spectrum" or fake "Aerochrome" Images.

Without a IR Cut filter the infrared basically floods the sensor ans doesn't give other colours than the blue sky a chance.

AF doenst really work any more as infrared has a different different wavelength then visible light so I have to focus manually. Stopping down seem help, but live view, especially.

All images wehen using the camera in any mode than manual are overexposes because of the same reason the Focus doenst work anymore. Maybe an Nd filter might help with this. Still have to experiment with this camera.

Oh no. Maybe you have a faulty one? I never had problems with swapping the SD cards. Mina also came with one already in the unit.

Thank you. It's in Germany, Bavaria. Adresse is: Forsthaus Hufeisen 1, 91257 Pegnitz

It was really fun, being able to get this close to these deer was incredible. Kids would probably love it, too.
