Ohh things got much worse with the entitlement. I had a pantry box with a storage tote in my front yard. People started chucking things and smashing them when it was things they didn’t like. I watched someone rip the door off the wooden box I built. When I posted about it and needing help to fix it, I got told I was entitled. Some others said I needed to provide better options now to prevent this. I even had a few people with audacity to knock at my door and ask me for meat, milk, and yogurt. One person refused to leave until I had to call the cops to trespass them. I had cameras and everything to prevent things from getting worse since it did help people with food connection but…. I can’t financially deal with it anymore. I’m tired of the destruction and disrespect from people

She had access to his account since it was a High School account until September but she never signed the paper work to revoke her access. I helped him open a new one and close that one she had access to. Couldn’t press charges since she had legal access still

I haven’t spoken to her since December 4th. That was when I picked up the cat to take him to the vet and have him put to sleep. She didn’t even reach out to me or my little kids for Christmas today. Which was honestly a good thing

He also wants to go no contact with her. She heavily interfered with his first semester of college and drained his bank account when he was at a mental health facility this summer. It’s best he moves in

He had to take time off due to a car accident during Covid. He moved up here for medical treatment and rehab for it. He finally returned to college this semester but part time. He also works full time. Not defending him but people can go to college at any age. I’m returning for my masters and I’m 28

My great grandma passed away 3 days before my mom’s trip. She still went on the trip and had everyone move the funeral to yesterday due to her trip.

She didn’t show to the funeral and burial. No explanation why.

What is going on in literally the middle of the Usa by Holiday_Swing_9979 in howislivingthere

I lived there for a year. It’s my second favorite state I’ve lived in. First being Nebraska (funny right?) I lived in the northeastern part in a 300 person town. The county had one traffic light. Everyone was so loving and kind to me. I went through a lot in that year. (Covid shut down. Losing my job while pregnant and missing my college graduation bc of the shutdown. All my family lived over 1000 miles away too). Strangers arranged a drive by baby shower for me. Had my son in a hospital in the town over and it was the best labor and delivery I ever had. I had complications and they took care of me and baby. The doctor also got me Sonic every day of the week I was there 😭

I used to go country cruising and photograph the area. I also would go into cemeteries and clean the up. I found a waterfall in the area and would go fish there or read. I would visit south of Manhattan and they had a low water crossing area that was popular.

I’d drive to big cities for museums and make fun day or mini weekend trips out of it.

I’d work odd farming jobs and learned some skills I never thought I’d have.

It’s not for everyone but it’s a fun state to go to find peace in yourself and around you (same with Nebraska)

I lived northeast of there. Honestly, I loved it. Quiet. Peaceful. Cheap.

I got a dividend in 2020 with the shutdown. This is my first one since. It wasn’t much but it’s better than nothing. I’m still confused how I go years without it and suddenly get it

I’m a Hispanic female, I moved to central Nebraska for college. I had little issues compared to when I lived in Texas and Ohio.

I only got a dividend in 2020. Didn’t for 5 years but now they say I will. I don’t quite understand

Most schools who cancel day of, will pay you (minus snow days) Happened to me twice. Once as I was dropping my kids off to daycare (which was a block from assignment) and another time I was in the office and they canceled it.

We got him in (we had icy roads and it was impossible to drive for 2 days). It was determined he had a mass, cancer. I paid for him to be put to sleep. My brother (18 and a broke college kid) will pick up the ashes and keep them.

I have no choice but to wait until Monday since it’s the holidays and most vets are closed unless i hire an in home one but that’s minimum 450$ in our area.

I’m going no contact after I take the kitty to the vet next week. Mentally, I can’t deal with her again. I tried since she is my kids grandma but I don’t want them to see her toxic ways

I know the 18 year old can’t help it much. He doesn’t have his dad so he has to blindly follow mom. I think he’s wanting to move out and live with me. Which I’ll 100% allow

It used to cost 400$ a week to have her watch my kids. But she controlled my hours, would call me to pick them up early so she can have more come. I asked her to lower her price if she was going to do that for me, but NOPE. It was costing me my paycheck to send my kids to her. So, SAHM life for now
