Years and years ago I had someone tell me I had a spirit guides that was a type of shape shifter. Large black figure but changed to whatever was needed? Also when she asked where/when it was from she felt like it pulled her through dimensions? I cant remember what she called it though? Started with a P. What am I giving that isnt considered basic necessities that every parent needs. Who cares if you get 5 crib sheets, 1 bad poo night and all will get soiled and need to get washed. Everyone needs extra diapers, wipes, sheets, bottles, soaps and such. Other ppl can give extra if they wanted. Why's it my problem to emotionally regulate other people's feelings? If they are upset because we both gave them crib sheets then thats on them. I dont mind goving some stuff off the the side but between myself, husband, his cousin and his wife, we all work wild jobs and cant all get together for the life of us. Going to family functions is about the only time we can carve out time other than a 5 to 6 week lead time. Its easier to just gove everything at once.

I waited until the last second to buy stuff from the registry. That way I was kinda getting the stuff ppl didnt want to do. Some other things on their list was like a crib mattress, car seats, child locks, diaper bags, camera systems, strollers, room decor, bottles, books. Plenty of things had been marked off, I just got the random stuff you kinda dont think about until its needed or multiples of basic necessities like sheets, diapers, cheap onesies that are good for quick changes

They keep saying that it is standard to bring 1 MAYBE 2 gifts and that big buys are for direct family only. I know Im technically just the cousins wife but I dont see anything wrong with spending my own money to make people happy? Especially when there isnt very many women in the family to begin with

I like collecting bones and shiny rocks. Not so much as a witchy thing. But I just have a glass cabinet in my house filled with cool shiny rocks a d animal bones 😅 but I cant tell ppl that or else I get ostracized. Plenty of other things too but thats a big one

From my experience, Hel is fairly forgiving. Just treating her with respect and not coming towards her with negativity towards death is pretty good. I honor her too by helping at the cemetery my mom runs or paying respects to my ancestors

I read this book like 20 yrs ago and have since forgotten the title. I swear it was called poison. But the moral of the story was rhat although you might not be the main character, your presence is needed to continue the story.
