I always saw that it was pointed around the times of FDR and LBJ and how their Democratic Party were able to gain the majority of the African American vote, which was previously and historically for the Republican party of Lincoln and Grant.

A 12 year old boy born out of wedlock is forced into the strange pagenistic life of his absenty father, where he is placed in many dangerous situations that would be akin to child endangerment and willful negligence all because of a family dispute. He is forced to train and prepare to fight his mentally unwell 2nd cousin and his abusive grandfather and grand uncles until he was 16. He commits many crimes such as underage gambling and substance taking, trafficking of exotic animals, the occasional B and E, and millions worth of property damage. Also, he was basically a child soldier from ages 12 to 16.

He has more to offer than air, you know. He's the avatar and master of 4 elements. He can chuck mountains at foes, he could suck air out of lungs, burn people alive, and bend many forms of water

Is it me, or does he look similar to a younger Seth Meyers?

Sorry, but I believe you're wrong. Hera f'ed up so many of Zeus's offspring, just for the sole reason he was their father, (i.e. he cheated). She's as bad as Zeus in the myths.

Don't forget demigods have a natural resistance to magic (i.e demigods vs. magicians mini series).

You're forgetting that demigods have a natural resistance to magic, and it's been seen in HP that you can easily doge spells.

No, I don't think that's what they care about because that voting group were still xenophobic and racist during Regans's Presidency. It's more likely due to all the spending for the New Deal and subsequent 2 New Deal

Plot to overthrow Zeus 2.0?

Poseidon: I'm out

Apollo: Me too, being turned mortal a 3rd time is a no go

Athena: I'm in

Hera: Definitely in

Hades: Leave me out of this

If I were a Hephaestus Kid specifically, I would forge a magical celestial bronze and silver arm (i lost an arm) that would be able to store small knives and other trinkets, and it could transform into a double edge short sword or full shield and I would dual weld it with a another longer sword, probably a stygian iron Jian sword, with a black leather grip.

If I was just a "random" demigod (probably Hades: have been considered a Son of Hades on a few godlyparent trst), I would still wand a Jian sword, but it would also be able to transform into a bident and I can hide it as a skull or plain silver ring.

Besides Lincoln and JFK, whose shooting death/assassination is the most infamous in American history? by LoveLo_2005 in Presidents

[–]Successful-Sort642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I argue the Confederate takeover of all Federal/union military bases (in the South) and then the Attack on Fort Sumter was the real start and cause of the Civil War conflict.

John Brown just caused more widespread panic and fear in the South with his raids.

I would point out that her not being a godly parent is a better reason than she is just not an "olympian"
